McMahon cover for me (will buy the Weston cover in the shops on Wednesday!), loved the Visible Man...would love to see him make a fully fledged return to the prog. Dredd, Absolom, Strontium Dog were all great, Dante and Rogue were alright and Grey Area has outstayed its welcome a bit I think!.

I got into Hellboy a year or so ago and I'm loving it (I often think it wouldn't be out of place in prog!), I've just read book 5, I'd love to give BPRD a go but I can't seem to find the 1st TPB anywhere!.

Well, the point at which BPRD spins off from the main Hellboy storyline is when HB quits the Bureau at the end of Conqueror Worm, so you've picked the best place to do it!

Dark Horse have discontinued the original softcover BPRD trades - they're still bringing out new ones, but not reprinting the old once they're out of print, which is probably why you can't find the first trade. Instead, they've recently begun re-collecting BPRD from the beginning in a series of chunky hardcover omnibus editions - http://www.amazon.co.uk/B-P-R-D-Plague-Frogs-Hardcover-Collection/dp/1595826092/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1326649066&sr=8-2 - which actually work out cheaper than buying the original trades seperately. If hardcover isn't your thing, the omnibus editions are also getting paperback versions  later this year.

Oh!, now I see, I'd seen that book in the shops and I assumed it was a later story, I shall order it next pay day, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Personally, whenever I get a prog backlog I tend to read one a day till I'm all caught up.

Guess what turned up today in the post today?, I am now a happy Squaxx!.

Still no prog 2011, I suppose the good thing is I wont have such a long wait till prog 1715 after I've read it!.

Anyone else still waiting for their copy?.

Prog 1667 came through my letter box today as well, only trouble is I haven't had 1666 yet(or the Meg)!, damn you snow!.

Hi there, I'm a long time lurker first time poster, I got moved to take the plunge and actually input something on these messageboards (rather than just reading them!) due to the quality of the prog at the moment, it's absolutely brilliant, the best it's been for years imo, Dredd, Zombo, Slaine and Savage are all great but the real highlight for me is Cradlegrave.  I think it's shaping up to be a modern classic from the house of Tharg, perfectly paced with an interesting real world setting, this issues chapter was the best yet, what a great ending!, can't wait to see where this is going.
