Ooops. I think I've caused confusion. To clear it up:

TWO competitions:

1) Add links, etc, for http://www.pencilmonkey.net/wiki'>www.pencilmonkey.net/wiki. Best gets a Rogue Trooper page.
2) Rework the pencil monkey image and add a hat. *Every* body wins a sketch!

It doesn't use html -- so it's very hard to break. If you want to include a link just do either:

Just go to it and look around. There's an edit button on screen which will allow you to edit any of the pages - if a page is vandelised you can roll back to a previous version (which is as easy as pressing a button).

If you want to add a page just edit any page and type in the name of the new page either by CaptelisingEveryWordLikeSo or by surrounding the word in square braces [like this]. When you save the edit you'll see a question mark beside your new page name. Clicking on the question mark will let you edit the new page. It's dead easy!

Dude! Put it up anyway - you're never the best judge of your own work (god knows how much stuff I'd drawn which I've judged as kak but other people thought was good and the reverse, more worringly, is also true).

The site is aiming to be a big old resource for people of all levels -- no snobbiness. If you're looking for a critique you can invite one (you may not get a response but who knows?). If you know a good website then post a link to it - others might not know it. Share dude!

Flying in the face of apathy I'm offering a Rogue Trooper page for grabs (when I get home I'll select one and scan it in so you can see it).

All I'm looking for are people to contribute material to http://www.pencilmonkey.net/wiki -- get the most useful stuff as judge by me and you'll the page -- offer closes end of Nov (nice Christmas pressie). You don't have to be a pencilmonkey to win it - just get out there find relevent stuff (tutorials/interviews) and add it - and if you are a pencil monkey then create your own page and bung some artwork up, if you're a writer then do the same-- just sign your name on the MonkeyKing page to be eligible.

Hello All....

I'm currently building a website for pencilmonkeys - of all levels - using a wiki. For those that don't know a wiki is system that lets anyone edit the content of the website - adding/deleting/updating pages as the visitors see fit. I'm hoping if I can get enough people active and using it we can build a pretty cool resource for any artists out there. At the moment there's not a great deal on there but I'd like y'all to help and build it. If you're a writer there's still scope to help out (as we artists not so good with the word making stuff) also I figure you could add a ArtistWanted section to look for people, I'll be posting similair messages (erm... spam ... sort of) in whatever appropriate venue I can find and I'd encourage y'all to do likewise.

Anyhue, feel free to ignore me if this is of no interest....
