Lovely. Well, lovely might be the wrong word for vampire nazi's riding bombs, but the art is.

Fab work on the Stront as well Mark!

Neil - really love that. Nice action and somehow you've managed to make Hammerstein look surprised - ace!

Worldshown - Great stuff, made me chuckle, it calls to mind cheesy cop shows like Dempsey and Makepeace.

Flint - The cover concept is great, it's a really nice way to convey the mash-up... who wouldn't want to see that?

Thanks again for all the kind comments on the twitter thing.

Totally jealous. The Lulu one on Simon's posterous is great too...

...if only I had money to buy commissions.

Aye, thanks for all the kind comments!

Rich did such an ace job of the writing I kept finding myself giggling as I was putting it together!

Great stuff everyone!

I asked Rich to help me out with writing this, so it's a joint entry from us, if that's ok!

For the uninitiated, twitter reads from the bottom up... so you'll need to click the link, zoom in and scroll to the bottom to start!

but just so you know what to expect - here's a preview image:

Hope you like it!

Help! / Re: Anderson's DOB?

I've seen another topic where this has been discussed, and I IIRC it has been mentioned in a story that she is over 50 now... can't think where though.

OK, a quick search revealed:

I sounds about right... or do you need it more accurate as in dd:mm:yyyy?

The final line in Dredd
"Hey Joe! Where you going with that gun in your hand?"
seriously made me laugh - how that line has never made it in before is beyond me*, several million coolness points to John Tomlinson for that!

Low Life continues to be my favourite leave until last strip at the moment though... I've said it before and I'll say it again, Dirty Frank ROCKS!

* it may have but I'm not going to check!

The Wellington is great. A little small perhaps, but well stocked with lovely Ales!

I won't be around Friday night, but I will be floating, meandering and drifting around the BICS halls both days.

There might be copies of the Sci-Fi Art Now book available (that myself any many other board members contributed to) and if anyone was intending to buy a copy and wanted me to personally spoil theirs I'd be only too happy to. :D
