Bloody scalpers, make's my blood boil.

Yeah, Eamonn charged an arm and a leg.  Sheesh!

The poster will be rolled, not folded. And it's a poster of the *original* art, which is a page of black and white line work, not of a scan of the coloured comic https://2000adonline.tumblr.com/post/139853978662/restoring-judge-dredd-the-cursed-earth-for-the#.VzOWYxIrLLE

Oooooh, Tidy! That is a completely different picture.

The details on the shop say signed by Jack Adrian and others (TBC).  Possible Messrs Bolland McMahon themselves?  As for rolled vs folded. Rebellion have tended towards folded previously so I would hazard a guess that this will be the same.  The poster also looks B&W in the promotional material.  For a colour double spread?  That would be a shame.

With thanks to Skullmo for putting me in touch with the revered Ezquerra, I am now the proud owner of this lovely piece of history.  Stanilus Steel Rat has always been a favourite of mine from the early days and my wife allowed me to splurge as a belated twentieth anniversary present.

This year's signed edition joins the last two year's.  Thanks to Eammon (or curses for finding a new twist on a nasty habit!).

[And finally cracked posting pictures properly]

I think 9mm hollow point is a highly effective cure.  Personally I've always preferred 7.62mm but you can't fight standardisation.

I swear I'm not trying to turn this into the trans positivity thread :P but:

I honestly hadn't realised how much I'd achieved already. :)

I don't think it's so much the trans choice as it is the affirmative action choice.  You have decided to make a radical transformation in your life to make it work properly.  There are a few folks on this site struggling with things that are nowhere near the same league (a la Black Dog) as what you have decided to do.  Your journey is an encouragement.  Sorry if that sounds a bit twee.

Remember, Eamonn saves you from the torture of going to all these events, the horrendous queues, the stinky fans, etc... So whatever price you pay is too little.

Plus the insane challenge of getting over to the East Coast or London where the majority of these events tend to be held, not to mention during term time which pretty much rules it out even if it were closer.....

... so yeah, whatever price paid is too little.  (And the amount that gets put back on from tax is scary.  Do we really lose that much money to the taxman?[rhetorical question BTW])

Prog finally turns up.  Finish Dredd .....        Sound of thudding jaw ... AGAIN!  Sight of feet and it looked like it was coming.  Next page....

Probably the most infuriating thing about this is it's likely to be over way too soon.  Carroll is learning how to weave a more complex and interesting story.  If he can get the pacing more even then he is going to be a cracking writer when the lamentably inevitable happens.  (Come on, Mr Wagner is getting on a bit).

Now on to the rest of the prog.

Having shelled out for the FCBD signed and made the last payment on a Stainless Steel Rat piece from the Great Ezquerra which I am looking forward to arriving shortly (and kudos to the wife for allowing that) I am now all tapped out this month.  Otherwise would be tempted on the Flint Titan.  Hey ho.

Bumpety bump.

coming back from blackpool some numpty just pulled in front of us on the m6 must have missed us by 6 inches!

That sounds like my journey's yesterday around Cardiff.  How the hell I made it alive is beyond me!

It's 'mirror, signal, manoeuvre' isn't it?  Not 'manoeuvre, maybe signal, oh sh**!!'

And don't get me started on little old ladies in Honda Civics (or Hyundai's now it seems) ...

... and breeeeeeeaaaaaathe!

I was also going to say, people trying to act like monkey's ... not so much.

That would certainly make sense.  Although having Gulag printed in a recent volume I think that one has been missed.  I think the page count on the Luna 1 stories is enough in itself.  I can't see them printing the same story twice.  Maybe just referencing.  Mind you, I may have my wires crossed and be thinking of one of Rebellion's B format GN's here.
