Is that Death lying down on the job again behind the table? Fantastic stuff so far and well done to juve Amy and Steven Denton for their entries.

Decided to start on the 2nd Mass Effect novel (Ascension), only a couple of chapters in but my love for all things Mass Effecty mean I'm excited already.

There's  Mass Effect novel? Aye carumba! :o  As I enjoyed the recent comic series i'd have a gander at this.

Currently reading Cthulhu 2000 a collection of short Mythos influenced stories all enjoyable so far.

Books & Comics / Re: The problem with Steampunk
28 October, 2010, 07:26:06 PM
More comfortable writers getting upset over nothing much. The truly scary thing about steampunk isn't whining liberals terrified of some Imperial resurgency (unlikely given recent govt spending cuts), but that it says the past is much more preferable to the future. Once science/fantastic fiction looked to the future optimstically but not now. We know too much about people.

Prog / Re: prog 1707 mind games
25 October, 2010, 06:38:15 PM
An okay prog didn't seem quite as grand as the last one. Dredd was fine and the last panel made me laugh, Wolfie keeps me interested art wise though the story is pottering along nicely, the highlights being Lowlife,(tho I did wonder at the Judge massacre) and the creepily fabulous Defoe. Dante -okay.

Rawk! Is that a schecter guitar and some les pauls?

Cheers Zarjazzer! Sadly not a Les Paul (one day!) but a Gordon Smith Graduate, the design, feel and sound are very very close though. About half the price mind you! I hadn't actually seen Schecter guitars until you mentioned it, but looking at their website those are some nice geetars! Allan plays an Ibanez but it looks pretty similar.

Lovly guitar an Ibanez. I convinced myself twas a schecter tempest or something similiar. Silly me. Gordon Smith s have a great rep.

This web site has guitars I 'd sell granny to slaver orks for, if I hadn't already. :D
