Books & Comics / Re: Sci-Fi Art Now

Arrived yesterday but I was too pissed last night to really appreciate it. Wow! Stunning art of all kinds -the sort of book that you can pick up leaf through and see something wonderful on every page. Hats off to the boarders/art droids that are featured in it.

My fave pieces are some of the city scapes and I love "large objects hanging ominously in the sky" type art.

A real must if you're a sci fi art fan.

2000ad gets a few plugs here and there so all to the good.

So when's the next one out?  :D

I'm not hip to the jive like you lot. I'm only just starting Fallout 3... :-[

Yeah but we are jealous of you Zarjazzer cos you have WEEKS of brand new playing in front of you!

This http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3 is a brilliant site if you get stuck with something, but don't use it too much it wil spoil the surprises.

Ah cheers Minkyboy.I've just met Colin Moriarty and have this desire to shoot him. :D

An excellent PI book featuring Lovecraftian horror in Glasgae! The Amulet by Williams Meikle-the seedy world of noir and the gibbering extra planar horror might seem a bit of a clash but it works.

Hellboy-The Wild Hunt a really enjoyable read. Also  Heavy Metal from September-quite a disparate set of styles in it and Lorna-The Black castle by Alfonso Azpiri -pretty much what you expect from a latin based Euro-comic -i.e. killer babe in bondage and bonking space epic.

The Catholic Church has alot to answer for. :)

Very good art reminds me of the great Mister Ian Gibson in parts.

It was very watchable and I liked the script. Both the leads were very good and held it together well. Seemed a bit of an unusual time to have it on though.

Fantastic stuff. Al Ewing has obviously been to the future and walked the streets of Mega City One. If he could kindly PM me next weeks Euro-millions numbers I'd be grateful.

You certainly get alot for the money. I really liked the Killer Mech story on the back  like a one page Future Shock. Very good indeed.

Woo-hoo! I wrote that!

Well I liked the colours... :)

Just kidding, the last panel was a superb twist. Great fun.
