Zarjazzer,

You're in Harrow?  The borough, nay, the town of my birth.  I'm in Stanmore personally.  Ah, the youngest and BEST Borough of London I think.....

I work in harrow today we ran up the hill as one of my chums is off on a trek up Kilimanjaro. Harrow hill don't quite compare but it's a start. and had a nice pint at The Castle. Very posh. :)

I have left my new comic of Star Wars Invasion -at work. Who knows what will happen to it.and my copy of Walking Dead a comic i've yet to read a single issue of. And my umbrella.

The police were hovering over Harrow in a copter. is there some mystic, illuminati style connection. I think so.

It was a bit of an oddie. Couldn't really get too enthusiastic after the first episode which I enjoyed. I quite liked sergeant Git and prof Evil having a set too "I will shoot you in the face!" ,but the bits still on earth seemed incredibly badly done.

Still mysterious ending!

Thanks Mike, but your problems certainly put my moaning into perspective!

Your stoicism and humanity through it all is the real lesson. All the best to you and your family in the next chapter.

Young Mister Langley also did art for tabletop miniature games like  Urban Warfare.

So I endorse this fine thread.

My 5000 word story got canned. Too many typos despite putting it through software and checks. And basically they didn't like the premise. Shit. i meant oh well i should be more careful next time.

well that was a mistake! (thank god for gamestation's 10 day returns)

swapped for batman which is excellent

You did the smart thing Mogzilla, it is fairly buggy as well as difficult to issue proper commands even after a bit of experience. I'll persevere as I have the mission editor working finally-the real reason i got the game!

the campaign game is also quite strict not really much choice I felt.

The new Wolfenstein and Flashpoint 2 are proving a real let down. may be you can't recapture the old magic. At least I've got the bloody editor on Flashpoint 2 working finally so some small joy at last.

The Ai tho on Flashpoint 2 is either very good or utterly ridiculous. Quite buggy alas too. Started a mission in a monastery and all my troops were trapped in rock. Annoying.

The ending of Wolfenstein is so annoying I refuse to play it and just re-start a new game at a higher level.
Nothing will match the legendary annoyance of "Legendary" a game with an enormous error at the end where you can't complete it. I tried all the help advice on the i-net and still nothing. Pity a I quite enjoyed it up til then. People get paid lots to check these things. They've obviously got a pretty good union...

Brilliant stuff. I used to read it when I was a nipper. On holiday in Kirkcaldy every summer  I'd get an Asterix book courtesy of my now departed Da. Asterix and the Olympic Games being my favourite.

It has arrived. Mmmm okay so far graphics a bit colourless or greyed out deliebrately so at the start. Annoying for me you have to command troops at which I am an unmitigated diasaster. Only played one game so far but even though I'd completed part of it when I got killed I went back to the start! Also I found that when I had completed a game it didn't seem to unlock the next game. I hope it's not a glitch.

Fairly deadly but Arma 2 was alot deadlier. Th e command functions I found difficult as you have to remember to press "Q" or else you'll issue some unfortunate orders.

Still calling in heavy artillery on a village full of enemies was a -ahem-blast! ;D

more later if still alive...
