Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

Pariah -by that scamp like scribe  Dan Abnett, okay but you should really have read some of the earlier novels like Eisenhorn or the Ravenor series or else you might be a tad lost as to who spoiler alert-
Cherubael
is and why it is significant. A bit of a long winded -I meant character building excercise, frankly it seemed a bit stretched as to who was plotting gainst whom I began not to care which is unusual for me and a WH40k book.

of course Warhammer 40k features ghastly, other universe entities trying to take over ours so for a change I've started Orphan Stars a pulpy sci fi cbook about ahem ghastly, other universe entities trying to take over ours. Um- :-[

oops :-[  put another link up but was pointed here by Jim Campbell.

I thought it was rather good. Nice, clean art and Dredd looks right.

Prog / Re: Prog 1809 : THIS ONE'LL KILL YA!

Supremely good cover and the contents once again don't disappoint.I feared Brass Sun had too many talking heads but it was all character building stuff and introducing new baddies, Simp and Low Life vie for top spot. Dredd and ABC both very good despite Pat's soapboxing in the latter.

Still, happy days... :)

You nerds don't know anything. Clearly, the engine nacelles are in fact touching the Falcons outer rim (oo-er missus) causing a imbalance in the qwangy field resulting in de-polarisation of the sub section manifold thus causing an anti matter imbalance resulting in a hyperspace distortion destroying the multiverse for several parsecs.

Well obviously. How else would a stable Throtchett field be generated during switch-slapping manoeuvres at high warpulse factors during a dark energy storm?

Ah, pure technobabble. Your place in the engine room of any Federation starship is assured.
