QuoteAh that explains it! Bet you're hypnotised by all the crowds and flashing lights, eh?

I'll have you know that electricity no-longer inspires fear in Llandudno, only mere suspicion...

I may have been typing my reply when you tried to put yours on the board. It's happened to me.

Picking up a bit of rough wood or sheet steel and, several hours later, having an item of hopeful beauty in my hand.

Having hot buttered croissants and ice cold coke.

Going to Manchester and sitting somewhere with an ice-cream and watching the world go by.

Reading a really good book.

I have simple tastes, really.

QuoteHolidays in Llandudno.

I'm from Llandudno. The place where it's still 1952 :)

It's actually a fair game and I would say the music fits it to a 'T'. I think I may try the cuddly wrestling of getting it to work on Vista later. Or maybe not.

Just have a read of the help wiki's and, most importantly, see it working live with some sort of action on the screen (football or the like). That should show up if there's any pixelation in the image.
I have reports of good offers on decent sets from Tesco Extra if that's any help.

It's a case of finding it first! I know almost for a fact that I wont have thrown it, nor will it have been thrown out by parents. But it could be anywhere; loft, garage, lock-up...random drawer. I'll keep an eye out for it though.

QuoteYeah, I noticed that. Same goes for that Spawn chappy.

*waves at Millhouse and Spawn*

I believe that this quote describes thier agenda:

No one would have believed in the first years of the twenty-first century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency men went to and fro over this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over matter. It is possible that the infusoria under the microscope do the same. No one gave a thought to the older worlds of space as sources of human danger, or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of life upon them as impossible or improbable. It is curious to recall some of the mental habits of those departed days. At most terrestrial men fancied there might be other men upon Mars, perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary enterprise. Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.

Their names were known as Millhouse and Spawn.

I remember a lad I once new being jumped in a similar way at a bus stop. He did some sort of Jap-slapping thing (that's the term he used!) and tried it out on them. One of them had a Stanley knife and slashed him across the arms quite deeply before running off at the sight of blood.

SuperSurfer: That must have been terrible. If I was in a similar situation I'd have to resort to my own special defence methods. This involves whimpering and pleading not to be hurt! Glad you made it out of the situation OK, although obviously shocked.

As I remember it was attached with tape.
This is interesting. There's a habit in my family of never throwing anything out. This means that, in theory, in one of the many, many bags of stored items we have a space spinner might be lurking at the bottom.

I'll get the keys for the outrage bus, but I have to note we're getting close to the yearly maximum mileage already.

Trilobites.
Ugh, flash-back to A-Level geology. The only bit I can remember relating to trilobites is the phrase 'occipital furrow'. I have no idea what this means, nor do I have any idea why I took geology at A-Levl.

Carry on.

Hmm, it's a valid point. I have considered removing the Nazi symbol image a few times. It's there only because the real thing was about the size of a ten pence piece and was a barsteward to do; the gaps between the image are less than one millimeter in most cases. It's also an item I made for someone who, well, has never really been the same since a certain day and deserved something nice.

But it's a good point well made and thank you for your kind comments. I think in future I'll just keep my pre-emptive comments to myself and wait until someone actually says something.
