It's funny. Despite many re-reads of the comics this phase is always in black and white in my mind. I have no idea why that is.

Isn't it illegal for a cinema to let in under age kids to the films they show, how does a kid get into an 18 movie??

Yes, it is. However it's the cinema that's risking its license by letting under age people in.
God forbid that the parents have to take a decision to protect the children themselves.

I like the idea of #2. It's punchy and easy to see (like the art competition). #1 would probably take a bit too much time to complete or evaluate.

I graduated from Action to 2000AD (I also had every issue of Action and threw the lot away when it was banned!). I can remember liking 2000AD for MACH One if nothing else (I was heavily into the 6 Million Dollar Man at the time). When they killed him off was a defining moment of my childhood as that was something I had never seen before in a comic.
