These men, of whom Cheny and Rumsfeld are the figureheads, are not do-gooders. They are men who have demonstrated an absolute disregard for human life. It is not good enough to side with the lesser evil, unless that is the ONLY option. Siding with the lesser evil was what allowed Saddam to fill his mass graves. He was not the ONLY option. And we should not have seen Rumsfeld and Cheney as the ONLY option in this case.
