Cheers guys. That Rocketeer one is not sketchy at all. He did it with no reference as chatted to me at the same time. Hero.
Here's a few more from LSCC. Stay Puft by Nick Roche with added colours by John-Paul Bove (He digitally coloured it at the show and printed it out), a Rocket Raccoon & Groot by JK Woodward and a Usagi Yojimbo by Rebekah Issacs.

Currently working my way through the complete Batman chronology and getting them bound so I'll do Twooth after those.

How many volumes do you think that will be? I have a map from Knightfall (1992) to pre new 52 and I reckon it will be be 30+ easily. I haven't started yet.

Shed loads. I'v done 15 so far which basically goes from Batman #400 up to just past Prodigal. I'm going to be doing a year one era binds as well and that alone (LOTDK stuff etc...) is going to be 8 binds. Up to 52 I would imagine at least 45-50 in total and that's doing about 25 issues per bind. So total up to 52 is going to be in the region of 60 binds in total. I have 5 more prepped and ready to go now.

Good stuff. You're a man on a mission! I have too many pies to stick my fingers in at the moment. I'm doing X-Men, marvel Events, DC Events, 2000 ad, Black Panther, G.I Joe all planned as well as lots of one-off single volume stuff. I need a new job!

I'm sure I've bored people before with my love of custom binding but I'll post the picks again. I've done 2005-2010 (two volumes per year) and have 2003, 2004 & 2011 ready to send off to the book bindery but I'll wait 3 months then I'll have another megazine supplements one as well (16 supplements per bind)

They do look nice! Where do you get that done?

I use Hollingworth & Moss in Leeds (they have a website although phoning them is better). I send off a box of about 8-10 binds once, or twice if I'm flush, a year. They can bind up to about 3 inches in thickness. That means you can do a year of progs in two volumes or if you're doing US style comics you can get about 30 issues in. They charge around £17 per volume which includes text on the cover and spine. Index pages and bookmarks are extra. They can also do a dustjacket for £7 and you can have a laminated cover for £5. You just need to supply them with the image you want.

They are glued and sewn which means when you open them, even in the middle, you get virtually zero gutter loss.

Binding (like a book) seems to be the ultimate solution, but again can be costly when you have a lot of progs and some people see it as 'damaging' the progs.

Posted some pics in the 'how do you store yours' thread. Yeah, once I realised the fact that comics aren't an investment I had no problem with the 'damaging' aspect.

Got this Simon Coleby page at the London Comic Mart last month. I'm more of a convention sketch guy and this is my first original art page. I fear I'm on a slippery slope now.

Just been watching The Chase on ITV (I have no idea why) and one of the questions was:

'Which superhero operates out of Metro City One?'

Superhero? Metro? Oh dear.

Sorted. I had 20 graphic novels in the basket that I added a couple of weeks ago. What it wasn't telling me is that some of them are now out of stock  :(

I removed everything and put back in what is available and it processed fine.

I was in the shop today, and no problem at all.

Must be something to do with my account then. I've tried on 3 different computers and now my phone and I still can't place an order.

I've been trying to place an order from the shop using my 50% 'subscription update' discount but every time I get to the page before the payment screen, when I hit continue it throws me back to my cart. This has been like it for over a week now. I called up Denise and she said it was a query for the technical team and told me to send in an email. Haven't heard anything back yet and I just wondered if anyone else experienced similar issues?

First time the postie has denied me my sub in the last 3 months. It was a good run I guess.

Also, I popped into Smiths today (Wimbledon) and found the new prog in the shelf on a Tuesday!
