Did you at any time mention your collection to her, if so that would have been your downfall.
What you need is a cellar full of Dredd merchandise, as that is what the ladies like  ;)

Speaking from someone who has indeed seen CF's cellar I can confirm it is a wonder to behold and does for sure attract the ladies. Why there was one lovely lady there already (who made me a nice cup of tea) when I attended my invitation to puruse CF's fine collection of everything Dredd. He is a lucky man indeed, I left his cellar with a tear in my eye  :'( never knowing if I would ever see this wonder ever again. May Tharg preserve this hidden treasure for millenia to come....

Comic
Spawn - Issue 1

Graphic Novel[/b]
Nemesis - Book 1 - A classic, superb artwork and great stories[/b].

Book
Robert DeNiro Autobiography - A real interesting read and insight into a great actor.

b]TV Show[/b]
Yesterday Channel - Documentary about King Charles, Quakers etc.

b]Movie[/b]
The Last Samurai - Great movie starring Tom Cruise in the role of American soldier Nathan Algren, whose personal and emotional conflicts bring him into contact with samurai warriors in the wake of the Meiji Restoration in the Empire of Japan in 1876 and 1877. Other actors include Ken Watanabe, Tony Goldwyn, Hiroyuki Sanada, Timothy Spall, Shin Koyamada, and Billy Connolly. The film's plot was inspired by the 1877 Satsuma Rebellion led by Saigō Takamori, and also on the stories of Jules Brunet, a French army captain who fought alongside Enomoto Takeaki in the earlier Boshin War and Frederick Townsend Ward, an American mercenary who helped Westernize the Chinese army by forming the Ever Victorious Army.

Game
Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox 360 - The game follows John Marston, a former outlaw who sets out to hunt down his former gang members. Marston's wife and son are taken hostage by the government in ransom for his services as a bounty hunter. Having no other choice, he sets out to bring his three former gang members to justice. Almost finished this game, it's great fun.

Album
Megadeth's album Risk, Rust in Peace - 2 heavy and political inspired albums, fast riffs and vocal gruffs and growls only Mustaine can deliver. And Ozzy Osbourne's Down to Earth - Great songs by the legendary 'Ozzy'.

saw the MIGHTY IRON MAIDEN live on Monday which is something I've always wanted to do since i was 8 and first got addicted to them,

Oh yes, UP THE IRONS! I saw Maiden at Earls Court in December 2006 during their 'A Matter of Life and Death' tour and it rocked. 1 row back from the front and middle left, seeing Eddie popping up in the Tank onstage was superb. Like you i've been a maiden fan since I was 12 but had never got round to seeing them until then.

If you haven't heard/bought their latest album 'The Final Frontier' I recommend you do, it is the nuts. The album has tracks that sound similar to their early albums, great stuff, here's to the next tour! :D

Did you see Paul Di'Anno has just been sent down for £45,000 benefit fraud? I don't know how his genius scheme could possibly fail - He said that he was unable to work after injuring himself falling off a stage, and claimed income support, housing benefit and council tax. He then spent the next few years playing hundreds of live shows all over the world until someone from the DSS saw one of his 50 videos on YouTube.

The prosecutor said: "He admitted in an interview in 2005 that he was living in Brazil and playing to crowds of 10,000 people."
The defence said: "He has fallen into a pit of mayhem."
The judge said: "nine months."

Yes I read that in the paper yesterday, shame as he was a good singer back in the day and certainly was influential on Maiden's first 2 albums. Unfortunatly for him he let drink and drugs get in the way of performing so 'Arry' gave him the boot. Would have been interesting to see how Maiden's further albums would have turned out if Paul had remained in the band.

I need to rebuild Bagman to make him lighter as it's quite heavy

You haven't had him dispense enough micro-mines, that's the problem.

 Yeah that's true  :)

That Papa Smurf guy looks like something from the X-Men...

Nice Rogue outfit!

Cheers Uncle Fester and your right, that guy could have played the part of Mystiques Dad  That guy's condition is unreal, if I hadn't seen pics I wouldn't have believed it. He says that his skin is turning lighter and a bit green, think I would rather look blue otherwise you wouldn't see him if he was standing in front of a bush or hedge

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?  :)

Thanks Tordelback, I had great fun building it, the muzzle believe it or not is a plastic shampoo bottle with holes drilled into it:) I need to rebuild Bagman to make him lighter as it's quite heavy, I want to add better detailing too as well as fit a robotic arm inside to come out of the side which will be powered by remote hidden inside gunner. :)

Judge Palmer, if you look on my facebook page you will see I have liked the site 'Great Scotts Props' as that is where the pics are taken from  :-X

Ahhh that's the Lawgiver that has been made and due to be shown at NSC. Nice one, cheers for that John  :)

I did have a look on the net on google earlier to see if Great Scotts Props had a site but couldn't find it, kudos to ya!

Joe, it doesn't clearly state that on the blog at all, their quote is:-

"2000AD will be giving fans a world exclusive and allowing you a never before seen "sneak peek" at the new licensed replica Judge Dread Lawgiver MkII, made by Jon Scott of Great Scotts Props".

What part of "licensed replica Judge Dread Lawgiver MkII from the 2000AD comic book" on the spacecentre site isn't clear? There's only one Lawgiver MKII in the comic, it's what is revealed in the pictures too.

http://www.spacecentre.co.uk/Page.aspx/324/BritSciFi/

Ahhh, but I didn't use the quote from the 'spacecentre link' I was quoting from the 'downthetubescomics.blogspot' which is why I asked the question in the first place. You didn't state (until now) that that was the site you were quoting from. I didn't look at the spacecentre link as I thought the info. given would have been the same/similiar. Thanks for helping me clear that up Joe  :-X

Sloopyjon is Jon Baylis, so no.

Cheers

Steve

I knew Sloopyjon was Jonathan Bayliss who made Termight's Dredd lid amongst other things and only mentioned him as this Lawgiver looked quite similar to one that he made and featured on the MCJ forum  :)

Do you know who made it then Steve? It certainly is a nice piece, looks like it has been made with the help of a CNC machine.
