Apparently they have been working on it for 3 years independently of Brotherhood and Revelations. Really looking forward to it.

Is it wrong to get indecently excited by a packaging shot. Looks like the evil British are the bad guys this time.

I find the whole 'penciller', 'inker' setup to be very skewed to the American market.

I assumed Bad Moon Rising was a toe dip to see if there was a desire for the character to be collected. Personally I think the strip is great and would love to see more. With a spanking new Alex Roland cover preferably (although I know Mr Rennie disagrees on that point )

Apparently changed in the UK only to avoid confusion with the 60s tv series. They do know us Brits can handle this sort of thing better than the Yanks right.

HMV are aware, but they have supply issues of their own recently. They are at least as far as I know getting the game. Game have made an official announcement now to confirm they wont be stocking it. Must be the beginning of the end for them.

Now it got new title, it called Avengers Assemble, with new poster!

I suspect that isn't the title, just the tag for the poster. It would be an awful name for a film

It's also horrid and photoshoppey. Why is Cap Am so big and why is the background so teal and orange.

I think this strip has jokingly been referred to as resembling something from Mandy or Bunty, I don't know which, and I think that's part of the AR strip, to call into question the trashy throw away elements of comics. My view is AR is a ambitious undertaking by it's creators.

No I think you are missing the reason. The same comments can be levelled to Slaine or ABC, it's just more evident in AR. Langleys photoshopping of photos is how he creates strips now so can't really be said to be an intentional conceit of AR.
