Plastic covers. I have a mate who works in the library and he gets me them from time to time. I sort of like them, but equally they annoy me in the same way that wrapping furniture in plastic annoys me. If you go round his house, every book he owns is protected in this way, and it drives me nuts.

SBT

Thanks. I didn't realise they did them in that size. Perhaps I shouldn't look. That way madness (and poverty) lies. I do have a large collection of books with dust jacket protectors but in my defence they are mainly from the 1940s and 1950s so need it.

Safe journeys LoD

Re aluminium v aluminum, those crazy colonials have at least a bit of an excuse as aluminum was the original name (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminum#Etymology) their lack of use of 'u' where needed is inexcusable, along with arugila, zucchini, cilantro and eggplants. Don't get me started on cookies :D

SBT are those plastic covers on your Stront trades or are they just bagged?

I'm related to Sir Francis Drake apparently on my paternal grandmothers side. Never explored the validity of it.

is it just me that thinks the first game was identical in gameplay to AssCreed ? Watching that trailer made me think 'oh cool you can destroy Borgia towers in this one too'
(This isn't a criticism and I'll be buying it no doubt )

Really enjoyed 13 Assassins. Ticked almost every box for me. They just don't make movies like this any more. . well they clearly do, but only when it's a remake.

Angel Zero: A good start for this one I feel. I've not read any of the previous Angel Zero stories so this gave me more establishing mood than plot - but I think it gave me enough to be getting on with. A good, tense ending - will see what happens next week. :)
You're in the same boat as the rest of us. It's a new story

It's on my Christmas list.

But it's an advent calendar. All the fun will be gone from it if you don't get it till Christmas
