Book Of Eli I'd heard vastly conflicting reports of it so thought I'd better make up my own mind. I actually really enjoyed it. The story is a bit bunkus but the imagery was beautiful. Makes me want to pick Fallout 3 back up again. Didn't see the twist coming and will have to watch it again to see how it works knowing it.

Thing is, with Low Life, who are the council of 5 Dirty Frank is answering to?
I just took it to be a disciplinary panel. I doubt the Council of Five have enough time to sit in on every one. ?

What I wondering is with the Dredd stories do they print them in the short stories like they would have been in the progs, or do they skip out all that stuff and combine it into one properly?

Its a case by case basis. Not sure there is an overall tactic but in general the newer the run the more likely it is to be edited into continuous narrative. Certainly stories like Tour of Duty, being a recent story run in that way.

Not everyone is happy about that mind

is a good read to explain why its not always a good idea (may contain spoilers for TOD)

Reading the synopsis for Heavy Metal Dredd 'This is Dredd at his meanest and most ass-kicking' Sounds intriguing. Is it a good one?

No. The art is quite nice but in general it's shit. It was done for a different audience and isn't really what Dredd is about.

Tour of Duty is continuity heavy, but I'm pretty sure it stands up pretty well on its own too. There is a lot of history to Dredd but I don't think there is and _need_ to know it. It provides some of the motivation to what happens true. But as Rads says, let us know how you get on
