I've often wondered about "Grud on a Greenie" - a green what?

Quote from: IndigoPrime on 15 April, 2016, 11:31:09 AMI assume IDW have it under license from both Dark Horse and RebellionQuote from: Colin Zeal on 15 April, 2016, 09:49:33 AMThis.
Pardon my ignorance, but aren't Dark Horse and IDW different companies?
Quote from: Pyroxian on 15 July, 2016, 12:45:57 PMNiantic was spun off from Google and did the pokemon april fool originallyQuote from: Goaty on 15 July, 2016, 12:14:05 PM

Possibly - although the game itself is based on Ingress, Niantic labs original AR game, which is very similar. To the point that all the Ingress Portals are Pokestops / gyms, which makes it easier for me to find all the ones around OxfordEsp. as there's one right outside my house.
Quote from: JamesC on 15 July, 2016, 11:14:34 AMNintendo love that sort of thing to keep costs down. See also DS & 3Ds's which never came with a charge cable
Weirdly, the UK version doesn't come with a plug adapter, just a USB charging lead. You can buy USB chargers from Poundland though, so it's not a big problem.
Not sure why anyone pays for next day.
Quote from: Goaty on 14 July, 2016, 12:39:51 PMIt drains your battery but doesnt seem to be too data heavy. Its just geolocation data.
I been try this Pokemon Go app, you only go to those areas and catch Pokemons, bring level up, that's it. But it will drain your Mobile Data. If your kids got it, you will get huge monthly bills. Very pointless app.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a licensed product, which is a shame, because I'd love one of these:

Aren't any bootleggers remotely original?
Quote from: Trent on 11 July, 2016, 03:59:03 PMI don't think MacDonalds were upset. Green Giant were. They just removed them all from circulation to be safe. Unless I mis-remember.
My Mike McMahon print turned up, lovely thing, wish it was bigger. Don't know why McDonalds got upset, as it's quite clearly MacDonalds who were being lampooned.
Just need my copy of the book to turn up now; probably in a Southern postal sorting office having fallen foul of my postal redirect (although the poster made it).
Quote from: ZenArcade on 07 July, 2016, 05:56:41 PMThats a bit harsh on the meg.
Not in the prog....I get Lucasian in terms of anything else -non canon. Z
slightly OT I think there can be a good case made for including the IDW Dredd Year 1 and Anderson strips. Written by Tharg and drawn by established droids. They reference Prog continuity and don't retcon anything.
