Is Outlaw the turning point in the Tour of Duty arc? Dredd was obviously jealous or at least struck by the preacher's autonomy, power and utter conviction to duty. Things that by his own actions Dredd has let go to a certain extent, having grown a conscience over the years.

Yay to Savage and Stront but for some reason the prospect of Red Seas just makes me go.....uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Don't know why cos I used to enjoy that strip. I think its just suffering from "not going anywhere fast and having too many breaks in between installments." Anybody else feeling this?
Quote from: TordelBack on 30 March, 2010, 10:29:33 AMD'you know, I've never considered that before. I guess the barrage of advertising I was subjected to as a child kind of made me take it as a given. I do have an awesome complete collection of Kenner cuddly Ewoks mind
Well if we're going to get all purist about it, nobody calls them 'Ewoks' in the movie either.
Quote from: TordelBack on 30 March, 2010, 08:01:41 AMSurely if you ignore EU stuff written long after the films were in the can it was flint vs plastic which is perfectly acceptable.
OTOH I think the whole Ewok thing works rather well (even if it bores my kid). While the physics of flint versus reflec armour are hard to fathom, at a story level it's through co-operation and heart that the rebels triumph (just as Luke and Vader do simultaneously), not force of arms, and that's how it should be.
