Well it's nicely produced, the articles read well and are informative. My only gripe is the massive price tag. Discounting the free gifts which are essentially the same old tat you get with any childrens comic to pusude them to buy it (with better art admitedly), are magazines usually in the £8 bracket? I can't believe I'm that out of touch. To put it in context you can get the 'Origins' graphic novel from Amazon, delivered, and have change for that price.

Gah, and why do youngsters all dress so outlandishly, and listen to music too loud. In my day ...grumble grumble

When my mate David 1st told me about all this I assummed he'd, you know, embellished. Gr8 bloke. But an embellisher of stories. So he showed me. And I laffed long and hard. the 'How to write comics' has lots of familar names and toof artwork too. My free comic was Dark Reign - Dark Avengers. Recognise Dr Doom in it but it looks pretty chud.

picked up a copy at lunch but almost put it straight back. Is that the usual price? you can almost get a lap dance for that sort of money Look forward to giving it a good read through. Will have to be pretty special to make me buy #2 though.

If they were going to use a American Actor, I would have chosen Cary Elwes most wel known for his role as the men dressed in black in The Princess Bride I think he faked the english accent very well & there's something of a aviator about him.

Good call ... only Cary Elwes is British and grew up in London. He fakes an american accent well, his british accent is his own.
