Unless its due to the cold up there, a banana peel shouldn't take more than a month to decompose. Orange peel on the other hand can take 6 times that long.

Why is it sometimes when SmallBlueThing replies to a post I see his old username in the main forum view as last poster. (did answer my question as to where Steev went)

Hear hear on the Oreos thing. Whats with them? They have these "oreo muffins" in the shop at the train station where I buy my coffee. Its just a muffin with a fucking oreo stuck into it. Whats that all about?

And is it just me or does anyone else think Hersheys chocolate tastes like puke? I mean, seriously....

Anyway, nice work Jim!
Oreo stuck on a muffin eugh. I assume you mean an american muffin not a real one. and yes Hershey bars taste like puke and Hersheys Kiss taste like almond puke. Give me a nice dark chocolate digestive any day of the week.

Film & TV / Re: Robocop 1&2
22 September, 2009, 09:48:16 AM
The first one is a classic. The second while nowhere near the level is enjoyable enough. The third IIRC was written as a PG type affair to tie in with toy lines but they realised it was shite and so tacked some ultraviolence back in. I am probably wrong though :)
Although they suffered from budget and having a 5ft Robocop I thought the 4 part canadian mini series did quite a good job.

I'll have to look it out. I remember my sister having a pile of Misty annuals. Wonder if they are still in my parents magic loft of mystery and adventure.

"On the seventh day He rested" or some such in some old book or other.

Judaism has it's Sabbath on Saturday, so for that community Saturday is the 7th day, making Sunday the 1st.

Christianity has it's Sabbath on Sunday.  Meaning for them (and those nations founded primarily on that religion and the associated mindset) the first day of the week is...... MONDAY.

As we all knew.  It's not called the weekend for a laugh.
Sigh .. thats why the Jewish Sabbath is refered to as the seventh day sabbath and the christian as the first day sabbath. I know wikipedia is only as correct as the last person to edit it but take a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabbath_in_Christianity#Christian_Sunday_observance . Warlocks need to know these things.

As for the Prog, didn't Dredd use a verbal override as a senior judge at one point to command a mark 1 Mechanismo Judge. I'd have thought he'd be able to order them to assist a judge who is being shot at by perps unless of course they had been majorly reprogrammed.

Excellent Prog with no real low points. Still not 100% convinced on Kingdom despite it being enjoyable. Should really read the previous books I guess.
Oh, and Sunday is the first day of the week because it is. Ask Google.
