Some mention of a prequel...hmm. But then no Anderson, and is she not just as important in these films? If there was a mini-series she might not be, other aspects of city etc could be explored.
Nah I think people got messed up with 'origin' story rather than the story 'Origins'

They did it before with the second marvel part work. (The red one) I think they even changed the spine picture for the general launch causing all sorts of confusion.

I was going to cancel my marvel subscription in its stead but it seems a shame so close to the end (Well a year or so) so I've got both now :S

It doesn't seem to be on sale in the Diff yet but if the Marvel ones are anything to go by there will be 4 pages of content in each book either dealing with creators or story background, a page at the front bringing people up to speed and a page at the back for further reading

Free gifts tend to be sent once you sub. The price of the first is supposed to be the incentive at the start. Is Newport bad today? The scaremongering appears to have led Cardiff to be dead on the roads.

think of it as its monthly amount not the final one :)

Good reason to cancel my Marvel Heroes subs. Odd choice of spine picture though.

I did think that
the guns in space that can target individuals was very reminiscent of Captain America : The Winter Soldier
- what came first off the ideas board?

Val Kilmer beat them both to it. Cheers for putting up that fantastic Alex Ronald cover, eamonn. Everything he does is a contender for Pete's end of year poll.
Dredd will defeat the lawlords with popcorn

I suspect it's possible but whether its financially viable is another matter. I think the Art of 2000AD book took a _lot_ of work to collate didn't it ?

Great Meg! Dredd was classic!

But to be honest, I hate them in the 2000AD progs, and I still fucking hate Valkyries!

Is it me or does it sound like the idea behind this :)

Ooh, I haven't read that one!  Having read the synopsis I can just imagine someone starting a war over a freeezy whip in this new block.
It requires a large amount of suspension of belief to imagine things can deteriorate to the level they do in the book without anyone inside alerting the outside or anyone outside realising, but its a good read and no doubt had some hand in shaping the megablocks of MC1. It's also set in London in a similar area as the building shown above :)

Mine just arrived, along with a droids copy, which was a bit odd.
