I think the slogan's and logos idea is great, esp the "be pure, be Viglient, BEHAVE!!" one as it would give non readers more of an insight into the world of 2000ad than a simple picture.
and the logo ones are also good because you can wear them knowing that anyone who knows what they mean is an actual fan!  

Forever People in Bristol. God, that takes me back. I used to catch the bus from Bath just to go to that one shop.

I was in bath on friday and found a little comic book shop just up from Bar HA! HA! I lived in bath for 6 months and not once did i find it, yet a friend at uni there who doesn't even like comics saw my Dredd key-ring and said "Oh i saw somthing similar to that in this comic shop place" needless to say we stopped what we were doing and went there! although it was mostly american stuff but there was a couple of back issues there.

I managed to get several boxes of original copy's from a hobby shop in yeovil too.
