Excellent find! That Rogue statue looks like the painted one that comes up as a google shopping result when you type 2000AD

I had a nice idea for this one but haven't had time to even sketch it out. TBH, I don't think a week longer is going to change that either, but you never know, I may be able to squeeze one out (hur hur).

As for resting the comp for a bit - I see what you mean, perhaps that would be a good idea, and reinvigorate things.

There's some seriously talented folk having a go at these - I hope we see a wave of new talent in the prog soon. Best of luck chaps.

Yeah, but the finished result was awesome!

I've bumped this to hopefully stimulate a new discussion. It has become apparent that I spend longer colouring a page of comic art than I do pencilling and drawing it. Probably about twice as long. Surely this is backwards! I know this is probably down to my own style - I tend to build up several dense layers and then paint areas out to reveal the inks. This is time consuming but produces a satisfying result (usually).

But seeing as I'm taking the idea of 'going pro' a lot more serious lately and that I do actually enjoy the colouring process as much as any other aspect, I wondered if anyone fancied sharing or briefly describing their own process?
(and hopefully I'll then be able to speed up my own colouring!)

BTW - does anyone knwo if Chris Blythe ever posts on here, or has his own blog/site? I'd love to get an insight into his techniques. Those short video tutorials Disraeli posted were fantastic - if Chris produced something similar, I'd be a happy bunny sir.

Just commenced volume one of The Walking Dead, with volume two lined up straight after (fantasic birthday presents courtesy of my good lady).

I haven't even attempted to read it this month. I'd rather read the film reviews and Dreddlines (which I have). Same with ABC Warriors - just not bothering anymore 

I have the collected New Statesmen, and I haven't read it for years. After enjying Cradlegrave so much last year, it might be time to dig 'em out.

Nice one Lee, always a joyous thing when a droid starts a blog. I'm at work right now so I can't view the images, but as soon as I get home I'll be doing just that!

I'm currently grafting awway on page 11 folks. Well, not currently - I'm at work at the moment. You know what I mean.
