Well I've stuck some samples up for what it's worth... why the hell not. Thanks for posting this PJ.

I'm flattered beyond belief that you used the Fractal page I coloured, MGB, particularly when your own coloured work is so strong.

Thanks!

Jim

No worries Jim! I looked back at my (slim) portfolio and hoenstly thought that page stood out, so it had to go in!

They're lovely Johnnystress, and not a whiff of Disney about them either.

Holy shit Shutdown man, I just read your sig - how about the nightclub scene in Fire Walk With Me, the way it's all in a sort of delirious slo-mo, and that tracking shot across the floor at the end showing hundreds of cigarette buts on the grimy floor while that fantastic dirge-goth music plays. Man, I love Lynch.

The bit in 'Swingers' where they all get into their cars and pull off one by one to head to the party of beautiful babies in the hills, all to the strains of 'Pick up the Pieces' by the Average White Band. Class.

The bit in 'Jedi' where the rebel fleet emerges from hyperspace and plunges headlong into about 600 tie interceptors ("There's... too many of them!" - still gives me goosebumps)

Loads more I'll think of later.

I'm desperate enough to be exploited by Mark Millar, s I reckon I'll stick some stuff up when I get home from work.

There are a few sfx shots in the much underrated Children of Men that are absolutely incredible - and all are done in one take, without cuts. I feel so jaded with mindless cgi-fests, to see something so visceral and fresh really blew my mind, especially on the big screen.

James, what a great idea and it's paid off in spades. Lovely loose lines, full of character and life.
