I also got book two of Cabalistics from Mongoose by mistake. Looks like book 1 is out of print as I haven't had any luck tracking down a copy. Only ones I've seen are going at over £40 on Amazon.

It was a really good day out and great to meet so many of you. Had a bit of a nightmare journey getting to the birthday party I was off to as Leicester Square station was shutting as I tried to walk into it. Apart from that it was ok though. If we have another meet up I'll definitely come along again.

Password? I thought we were going to lurk near the 2000AD trade section, looking at each other furtively like a teenager buying his first grot mag?

Tomorrow night I'll probably pop in my local for a few pints then head home for a quiet night in front of the telly. Saturday I've got the forum meet up, followed by a friend's birthday in the evening. I was hoping to see the Haye v Harrison fight but not too much of a problem. Sunday I'll watch the Grand Prix down the pub with a mate and then watch the American Football on Sky.

Meltdown Man is also out now. I saw it in FP on Saturday.

I read the film reviews, even after reading them in Total Film and Empire. I think they're always pretty good and well written. I certainly don't mind them being in the Meg.

Orient's potential 2nd round FA Cup tie at Droyslden has been switched to a Monday night so it can be shown on ESPN if we get through the replay. No nice away trip to a non-league outfit for me now. Bastards.

Not a bad prog but the line up of stories is only ok in my eyes. I think I'm too excited by the Xmas prog line up to get too carried away. Oh, and maybe Tharg needs to have a word with the staff at Forbidden Planet. I was in the Shaftsbury Avenue shop on Saturday and Meltdown Man and Al's Baby were both on sale. According to the advert in the prog they come out on the 11th. Or do they have a different agreement with Rebellion?

I'm really looking forward to it. I was in FP last night and had to restrain myself from buying loads of trades. I had to remind myself that I'd have nothing buy next week and would be annoyed.

Got a friend's birthday drinks tonight. Tomorrow is the first round of the cup and I'm going to watch Orient away at Dagenham. Sunday will be a day sitting around the house relaxing. Probably watching the football on Sky.

I don't actually own any 2000AD t-shirts, but I'm sure I can try and sort that out before next Saturday.

I thought the first Matrix was ok, but nothing more and certainly not worth the hype it got. Saw the 2nd one at the cinema and walked out refusing to even think of ever seeing the third film. Don't think I've missed anything by sticking to that vow.

Lowlife was excellent and I might do a re-read of all the parts tonight. Enjoyed Dredd after a pretty average story last prog. I like Defoe but I have to say that I was also left rather puzzled by what was going on this run. Maybe it will benefit from a re-read in one sitting as well. Don't mind Slaine being back. It's never really been a favourite of mine but at least it never outstays its welcome. I'm starting to get to grips with Sin/Dex now so I'm looking forward to a new run of it.

It'll be a shame if that one isn't printed. I really enjoy the MCU stuff and was looking forward to another nice trade of it.

I hate to say it ... but it might be wise to wait until after christmas... when there won't be too many despirate shoppers arround compeating for space.....

I think we'll be ok. The west end is always busy, so whenever we go we'd have to put up with crowds. I don't think the full christmas madness will have kicked in by the second week in November. At least I hope it won't have.
