Quote from: bewareofgeek;597097http://movies.ign.com/articles/116/1160777p1.htmlThe thumbs up from Jock and Mr. Gibbons, thats as good as getting a sneak peek picture of Anderson. Positive feedback on the Lawmaster to. An interesting insight by Jock into how it's shot in the film to give it more visual impact.

Quote from: Wake;589951The shoulder pads are fibreglass. Not heavy enough to be uncomfortable...much less than a suit of chain main. My Velcro attachment system needs some work, so I had to keep checking on them while I was dancing, and not be too energetic. Visibility was okay until the visor misted up, and it was of course really hot -- especially since I was wearing an SD beanie hat under the helmet to keep it in place.Between your costume and urbans yours would get my vote.
Quote from: Goaty;583841Will be directed by Darren Aronofsky!Snikt!!!
As some of you maybe not happy if Wolverine not featured in new X-Men: First Class...
there will be new film out in 2012, The film will be based around Wolverine's exploits in Japan and will be modeled after Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's 1982 limited series on the character. It is not stated to be a sequel, but rather a separate story from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Aronofsky announced the title and went on to say that it won't have a number attached. Even more intriguingly, he's treating it as a one-off, and not necessarily a direct sequel to Wolverine itself.
Which, provided Fox gives him the freedom, means that Aronofsky will be able to experiment with the film and make it stylistically different from the rest of the X-Men universe. No doubt that's part of why the director agreed to make it in the first place. It also makes us hopeful that Christopher McQuarrie's script strikes out in some interesting directions.
Afonofsky's already maintaining part of his regular filmmaking team, with regular cinematography collaborator Matthew Libatique (who has superhero form, having worked on both Iron Man outings) on board. And given his own take on filmmaking and the critical/festival success he's already enjoying with Black Swan, claws crossed Aronofsky actually gets his way as Logan heads to Japan...
Quote from: JOE SOAP;579991Isn't that called Timeslip?Ooops! Forgot to mention the title,...it's Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires. Timeslips not one l'm aware of i'll have to check it out.
Quote from: Greg M.;579963Thought of another one (though I'm betting Mog's shopping list is probably big enough already!): G.I. Samurai. Sonny Chiba and his army unit fall through a time warp to feudal times and insane samurai / tank / helicopter action ensues. Yes, this is a real film.Hammers foray into kung fu vampires is an interesting watch. Can't be compared to the classic's mentioned but has lots of samurai action and bare breasts as standard.
Quote from: IndigoPrime;577458That's all looks horrible—which is great. What I mean is that this Mega City One is more 'nightmare' than neon-nightmare. Maybe things will change in post, but it's coming across like a shithole of a city that's on the brink, where Judges just about keep things in line.Looks awesome, very Electra Glide in Blue. Says badass biker cop all the way. Shame ar' Michael didn't have a hand in the reveal though!!!
Increasingly, this also doesn't look Nolan faux-realism to me—it's brutal 1980s-style sci-fi' realism. It's Mad Max and Alien, not Batman Begins. Again, maybe post will change things, but I'm liking the no-nonsense take on the comic so far and its slightly ramshackle nature.
