I struggled with the A5 page size and felt to to be claustrophobic. I was concerned that the backgrounds would be too small to make it worth bothering much with them.

Then perhaps an establishing panel, just for the sake of time and place?

Nice work. I like your character drawing - the only complaint (however small) would be that I'd want more background to add atmosphere or a sense of place. Thanks for that dose of Thrill-Power!

You're exactly right. I just meant to use it as an example of something that happens whilst asleep but gives the person experiencing it the feeling that they're awake. Carry on.

People always think they're wide awake, but this kind of stuff does have a habit of happening to most folk when they're in bed.

I know I'm reeeaaally late to the show, but despite years of friends telling me I'd love it I'd never felt bothered to watch the short-lived Firefly television series. Well...after signing up for netflix, I decided to give it a go...

Wow! What a fantastic show! The characters were great, I really got to caring about them after only a few episodes. The writing is fantastic - great stories, wonderful dialogue, emotional story lines, actual funny humor throughout. Just a great, great show.

I actually felt gutted when it ended. I can only imagine how that must have felt to Joss Whedon and the show's writers and actors, to have the show cancelled so prematurely.

Serenity was a good film, answered a lot of the show's lingering questions, but I would have liked to have seen the develop naturally over the course of a long series.

Shame on you, FOX.

One of main reasons I enjoy this forum is that generally you can bring up anything and get a civilised conversation about it. I personally don't agree one bit that Pat Mills has an "anti-semitic" bone in his body, but if ElliotJA does, or is unsure if there was a serious anti-semetic slant to Mr. Mills' work, he should be free to discuss it.

As for me buying Holy Terror - ignorant views or not, I'm not a Frank Miller fan so you can count me out!

I like 'blang', a mix of 'bang' and 'blam'. I've been reading Mexican comics lately and old west gunshots are always 'blang'. So arsom.
