Totally agree mate

The GS guys have given me free rein of their website and have passed on some review copies they've been sent, so gonna look to put 2000AD stuff up fairly regularly. Even if I just try and nail one of these quickie interviews per prog or something.

Failing that I could just have a "Leigh Gallagher pic of the week" thing where he runs through his variations of "Magnum" and "Blue Steel"

As 1700 is coming up I've tried to score a few mini interviews with people who have contributed to the prog.
I've got one up already, two more on the way and am looking into scoring a few more before next Wednesday.

I'll post links in this thread as each new one goes up, but to kick off we got Rob Williams writer of.... ah, you guys know

LOVED IT

Dumb as hell, total rubbish, it knew it was, it didnt give a toss

Full of bloody deaths that will make any gore hound chuckle and literally threw everything out of the screen at you.

And Kelly Brook.... hoooooly crap

If you are a fan of silly horror films and you wait for the dvd you'll kick yourself you didnt see it in its 3D glory. Went with the wife tonight, might go again with the guys on the weekend after a few beers

Must be why they thought they'd get away with making the cover girlie pink

Is it though? I mean I know they are similar enough that Kid Rock mashed them both together for his "All Summer Long" song, but listening to them both I wouldnt say it was a sample... or the 1978 equivalent of one

Either way, both cracking tracks

Creative Common / Re: Considering self publishing

Yeah, I got one or two storied in that kickstarter project

Basically its all the stuff that was done for Insomnia's Layer Zero project but thats obviously all fallen back to the original creators so as the theme was "Survival" it seemed a good fit to push it forwards anyway.

Not sure about starting a collective though. Have visions of it all going a little animal farm. Few people taking it all, and themselves, a little too seriously for my liking.

Having read the synopsis I anxiously await the Jack Black / Jennifer Aniston remake

Wont ever see this movie though. I can watch blood and guts stuff all day, but rape makes me feel physically sick.

Creative Common / Considering self publishing

So I have a completed graphic novel just SITTING there now due to the demise of Insomnia.

Am putting out a few feelers with publishers but while everyone seems to want to publish it digitally, its all very vague about whether we'll actually get hard copies at any point.

Im thinking about going the Lulu or Amazon routes.

Anyone had experience with this or can offer any pointers?

Wife convinced... we're going tomorrow!   :D

This got 81% on Rottentomatoes!! Thats amazing for a silly horror flick.
Working on getting the wife to go see it tomorrow. She's a bit fruity for Kelly Brook so that could be my angle... plus, you know.... 3D Piranhas!!
