He's now added, to show his photoshop skills, a pic of Karl Urban as Dredd.... with Bugs Bunny lying on his gun.

Slightly surreal   :D

The letterer just adds the dialogue written to the artwork. They dont have any contribution to the story but I know some will do the wording (if thats the correct phrase) of sound effects

I say "just adds the dialogue" ... its one of those things you dont realise is such a skill till you've tried it. Theres a total art to it and lots of clever tricks about guiding the readers eye around the panel.

And by that I mean... IT'S BEEN SCOJO'D!!

It aint proper 2000AD till it's been Scojo'd

Should say though that he's been perfectly polite etc. Wasnt around when he built up his rep so dont know if I should be worried or not

Cool trailer but as with all these Marvel films tho, Im into it, I'm getting excited, my fanboy is losing his shit.... then Sam Jackson walks on, does his patented Sam Jackson routine and my bubble gets officially fucking burst

I love the Ultimates, it got me back into comics, but their faux Nick Fury stunt casting has a lot of shit to answer for.

Imagine how much cooler all this would be if Fury was a growling Kurt Russel who didnt need "Bad Motherfucker" on his purse to let us know how hardcore he was

Maaan, I used to love Evil Ernie comics! Not sure how well they'd hold up now though.
Bought the first Lady Death mini series but always felt like I should be wearing a raincoat buying them at the comic shop so didnt buy further runs

Gents,
Hoping to post up some reviews for these in the next week or so. If anyone thinks they wouldnt mind chipping in either for Zarjaz or Dogbreah, please drop me a DM.

Heres a previous Dogbreah one to give you an idea how I'd like to handle it. Just need a few lines per story

After MUCH faffing about I sussed out my first co-op with a mate today.
Took us a while to work out getting in the same "instance" etc and especially the headset deal but was loads of fun once we had. For some reason I found the fact his characters mouth moves when he speaks AWESOME

Can I just add Bill Pullman was REALLY good. Maybe as I've only ever seen him playing good guys before but his character was creepy without going pantomime.

BUMP!

Guys doing the reviews rock (and its greatly appreciated) but always up for more views on stuff. Any of you lazy bastards up for some?

Need reviews for 1742. All in one go or Dredd by Monday morning, Sin/Dex by Tuesday etc etc as posted daily
Can sort ya a pdf for review if needed.

Or again. Permission to cut and paste the reviews you do in the prog threads would probably do it

Conan O'Brien : Cant stop

Kinda surprised he let it go out as he comes across as a bit of a dick in a lot of it. Like theres a scene with him meeting the family of one of his backing singers and being all friendly that goes straight to him afterwards bitching about it.  Did prompt me to go online and buy the book about the story behind the whole O'Brien / Leno thing

Might be the fact I watched the trailer on youtube not quicktime but it was giving me that creepy "Polar Express" feeling.

Never really got Tintin which I put down to one Easter Monday morning when one of the animated movies was on BBC while the Adam West Batman movie was on ITV and I got outvoted as the Joker gave my kid brother nightmares. Always hated the little bastard after that ... thats Tintin, not my brother... he's ok.

True, but as we know the events of the prequel happened in a location exactly the same with the same creature....

Only difference I suppose is that its all gonna be in Norwegian with subtitles... right?   ;)
