Thanks. I tried to incorporate as much of Dredd's world as I could while still keeping it to a minimum.

I put this together today... or yesterday now as it's past midnight. Just an idea for a teaser poster. I used Painter Elements and Photoshop CS4 with some photo stock taken from CG Textures. What does everyone think.

The Hobbit and the Return of the King animated movies were made by the same people behind Thundercats which is quite obvious when looking at the designs of the characters.

Residency doesn't limit your ability to get work in the galaxy's greatest - may make it a little harder to get noticed, as comic con's are one of those ways that editors get to know you - but shouldn't/doesn't matter where you're from...)

That is mostly good to hear. Maybe these boards will help me get known a bit. The only 2000AD person I've met was Colin Wilson. Which was a couple months ago at the Melbourne Supanova convention. I'll just have to try hard.

I've had the same problem so I use the Aimersoft Video Converter. It always does the trick for me.

I like this thread. This is my first time entering and I almost went overtime. It was all done using Painter Essentials with the pencil tool.

That's a very cool illustration James. I'd love to work for 2000AD as well. I'm not sure if I'm good enough or what. I do have a bunch of comic book credits now. Mostly with Moonstone books. I've heard before that it's more of a UK thing and I'm an Aussie so I don't know what my chances are there. Although Colin Wilson I think is either Australian or Kiwi. I couldn't see one so I don't know if there is a thread like this already. So I started this topic where us Dredd fans can create our own concept art for the new movie. You can design anything you like that you'd like to see in the movie whether it's a character, a prop, a vehicle, a set, a movie poster or what ever.

I'd love to see Gerard Butler as Dredd so I made this. You can't really tell it's Butler but it is.

I just read at Superherohype that Thundercats will return. Sounds good to me. That was one of my favourite childhood cartoons. The promo artwork is just plain awesome.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I agree a close up on the badge would be cool for a teaser poster. Or perhaps even a poster showing Dredd's chest with the badge clearly showing and Dredd holding up his gun which would give people a hint of Sci-fi.

I'm looking forward to it. I've enjoyed all of Zack Snyder's movies.
