Well, as predicted, the actual special was not really as good as An Adventure in Space & Time for me. I really enjoyed it, don't get me wrong! The banter between the three Doctors was very funny, and I even enjoyed Matt Smiths performance for once, but I expected so much....more.

And what happened with the Zygons....did I blink and miss the resolution? They hid themselves in the paintings, emerged into the future.....and....what? Meh....will need to check it out again on Iplayer before I can really be sure what I thought of it I guess.

If I say I rather liked grandstand AND basil brush, do I have to go sit in a corner?

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that An Adventure In Space And Time was the single greatest thing I have ever seen, full stop. Yes, it was in no sense historically accurate- but I don't give a bucket of buggery,

No the 3rd Dalek was the ONLY one in line....it was the other 3 that where out! :p

My favourite scene among many was his refusal to open the TARDIS doors from the wrong side of the console: I thought that was a wonderful detail, and a clever summation of what makes the best SF TV work (for me): a lead who looks like he believes in the reality of everything he sees around him.

Yep, and that I know, was entirely accurate.  We had Warris Hussain visit the set, and he did comment on that aspect of Hartnell, it all had to make sense from episode to episode, continuity was king!

Only bum notes for me were at the very end of the drama itself, with the pointless[spoiler] 'vision' of Matt Smith[/spoiler] (who I like, but not there), and the casting of Shearsmith as Troughton, which seemed more to do with his relationship with Gatiss than with any resemblance.

Point one, couldn't agree more, point 2, nail, head, hit.

But aye, feeling pretty fucking chuffed with that!  Although my Cyberman got more close up time than my Daleks!!  Well.....it is Gatiss' fave monster....so I guess it's fair enough!

[Breaking Bad]

Just bought Breaking Bad Season 1 to see what all the fuss is about. Only watched 3 episodes in and im loving it already,will watch a couple more tonight. I agree with people who say its well acted,well written and tragic/funny at the same time.

Just watched the end of season 5, damn I envy you having it all new and unseen before you! Excellent series, brilliant cast, cracking scripts. Loved every minute of it.

Sharknado.

I know a lot of folk say it's awfulness is it's brilliance, but I have to disagree.  It's awfulness is just.....awful.  It's not actually finished yet, but it just pissed me off so bad with the whining bitch doing a REALLY bad rip-off of Robert Shaw's drunken 'I hate sharks' speech from Jaws that I've pretty much had enough.  Although the inexperience pilot taking a helicopter into a fucking tornado strong enough to maintain lift on not just a single shark, but fucking hunners of 'em is pretty much far worse than the awful speech. 

Dredd sequel, then Christmas can go boil it's heed for the rest of my life.

I won't miss the BBCs constant evangelising of Dr Who as the greatest thing ever that everyone who works for the BBC has to absolutely love (it's probably in their contract).

I heard a belter today that made me near piss myself!  The Scottish independence campaign assured the public that 'better together' campaign were using scare tactics to say that Dr Who wouldn't be shown north of the border should we go independent, an it most assuredly would be!!  Nice to see they are focussing on the important stuff eh?

[The Worst Film I Have Ever Seen]

Unfortunately I have viewed the film I regard as The Worst Film I Have Ever Seen twice.  I was forced to view it a second time because of social etiquette.  It wasn't better the second time.  And just because you laugh at how bad it is, that does not make it good.  It just makes it laughably bad.  Which is a bad thing.  Badbadbadbad *twitch*  Sorry, had a flashback.

And that was.....?  C'mon, don't leave us hanging here man!

So many folks have said the same thing, and I honestly think it will be quite possibly the best thing I've ever worked on.  Proud of myself much?  Yeah.....just a bit!
