You can get 2 types of make your own Monopoly, one (cheap) where you use templates and print your own places etc. and (expensive) where you can do it all online and it will be made and shipped to you. I'm not sure how much control you'd have over things like changing the beauty contest chance card to an ugly contest or anything like that, perhaps just the place names.

No Dredd trailer at the TDKR I saw tonight, pity.Still lots of selfish twats checking the time/their messages or whatever on their mobiles throughout the film ,unbelievable.

The girl sitting next to me kept doing this, eventually I tapped her arm and whispered "give it a rest!".

I got my revenge later by dropping a nasty popcorn fart, I could see her and her boyfriend hitching up their t-shirts to cover their noses.

That'll learn them.

I saw TDKR last night and the Dredd trailer was on in front of Total Recall.

Looked great on the big screen-it was all I could do not to stand up and yell at everyone in the cinema "See that? That's awesome-go see it!".

I did wear my Dredd t-shirt too for a bit of subliminal plugging.

You've been spiked with a hit of Slo-Mo - skip the next turn.

And the one after that.

And as a small self contained movie, Dredd (1) would make a good first half of a longer game.

So the fella in the clip who gets the out of frame blood splat, he's the Stallone looking guy from the trailer. Do you think the close up of Dredd with his reflection in the visor just before he gets it is intentional? A great way to say farewell to Stallone's version.

It's annoying how that review constantly calls Anderson Cassandra.

This is all great news. I've been telling anyone who'll listen to me for more than 30 seconds that the word is it's good and they can all stop worrying now.

I wonder if it'll get a biggish uk premier and how people like us can get in.

Also are we looking at a Christmas DVD/blu-ray release? What's the timeframe from cinema to home these days? I remember the days when it would be 18 months.

Good idea. Keep it level headed with some links to us and the site and it could be effective.

Told a guy in work who I haven't seen for a while (who reads a lot of Marvel and DC) to watch it and he came back much impressed, says he might have to go see it.

Keep the pressure up.

Just redraw each episode not drawn by you (no disrespect to the other artists) and I'll be happy.

General / Re: How do you read your prog?

I go to WHSmiths on a Wednesday and read Dredd, put the prog in a more prominent place and leave. Then I'll download the digital version on a Friday or perhaps miss a week or 2 then play catchup on my iPad.

That reminds me...

I feel I should vote on this month's comp cos I'm planning on getting back into some drawing for fun and these comps are a good excuse.

1. Skullmo1
2. jmean
3. Jim Campbell

HM Glenn Broadway-mainly for the newspaper execution.

Prog / Re: Prog 1789 And he was a killer

I've only read Dredd so far. Today is a good day to be a 2000AD lifer. It doesn't get better than this.

Don't know if it's been suggested yet but the aftermath of DoC could very much resemble the pared down MC1 of the film. Just a thought.
