I still don't get how Ade Bamforth hasn't done loads more for 2000ad. I've always liked his work.

Current youtube trailer ratio:

5,128 likes, 513 dislikes

That's exactly 10% dislike (with rounding). I call that a win.

We might get some extra viewers from the Game of Thrones crowd, apparently it's very popular both sides of the pond which might draw some who recognize Lena's name.

Just to put my 2 cents in also, I think it looks great, as others have said the only grating bit was the 'Judgment time' line, I almost expected Anderson to follow up with a YEE-HAWWW!!

Action scenes look good, City looks good, even my missus says she'll come see it with me.

Are those three judges bound and shirtless (00:45) then deposited over the side of the block?

I believe
they are part of Ma-Ma's gang who fuck up, and get tossed over the side (after being flayed on Slo-mo), which initiates the need for Judges to attend the crime scene
, if I remember rightly from the script.

Best thing for me was Urban's reading of the "I am the law" line.
Looks great!

I agree, he almost says it to himself through gritted teeth. All memory of Stallone is now gone from my memory.

Remember how the vans looked daft in the spy pics, but turned out to fit quite well in the recent hi-res photo? That, but with fewer wheels.

Well said.

Now that is perfect Dredd!

Karl's got very small hands, or is it just the McMahon effect?

No, I made a similar point.

As a guess the makers might argue that as with riot cops today, the average person in the street doesn't wear kneepads to match them.

Stick any modern day police, particularly armed, Met style cops in a crowd of normal people and they'll stand out.

.

(bet my HTML doesn't work).
