Good point about the intelligence, Slipsy.Having to deal with the general public on a day to day basis gives people something above those people with the all important desk jobs and higher salaries-common sense.

There's not enough of it in the world to go round.

I work in Borders in Swansea, actually I work in Starbucks, which is upstairs in Borders. I luckily don't have the crazy book people to deal with, just the been-shopping-all-day-and-want-to-take-it-out-on-poor-staff people.

As far as specific examples go, I could be here all day, suffice to say that they're all nuts and the majority are so rude.

We do have a local santa-hatted mentler who scabs fag butts from outside and rolls 'em up and smokes 'em in our toilets.

Vucking golf ball hit my car today.

Shav(!) my pants, I did. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt but I pulled over immediately, checked the car and then put it on.

Shook me up a bit, not as much as your fishwife.

All the best to you and her.

Amped 2 IS hard. Frustrating sometimes, but rewarding.

SSX is a lot more arcadey, mental flips and tricks make it easier to feel good about yourself.

Your decision mate. I'm still enjoying it. And XIII. And Links. Gotham's still tough though.

Buy it from GAME and take it back if you don't like it. But persevere.

SSX3 is a multiformat racing on snowboards game, very similar to it's predecessors.

I like Amped because it's about showing off.

Buy Amped 2. Go on. It's fun.

SSX 3 is probably very good too, but a different kettle of fish(!). I won't buy it because i've got Tricky and that, in my opinion is enough for downhill snowboard racers.

Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2! Amped 2!

Ta fishy.

XIII- I've played through to about level 3 on the story mode. It's got fantastic style, the cut scenes and flashbacks and stuff are all very well executed. The game fells a bit dated, but in a Goldebeye type way, which is fine in my book. Multiplayer on LIVE- I only found one game, and I got slaughtered 15-1 or something but it has potential to be good fun, if more brits get involved.

PGR2- If you like racing games then this is tops. I'm shite at it, but enjoy it. Played for the first time on LIVE today and had most of the room in stiches about how crap I was. One that i'd like to persevere with.

Crimson Skies- Dunno much about this. EDGE gave it a 7. It's not my cup of tea.

Amped 2- Now your talking! Dead hard to pull off the style moves, you've gotta gently squeeze the triggers to tweak moves or push the sticks kinda halfway between neutral and the directions for more style. When it works it's hugely satisfying, when you crash it's all your fault. Great fun on Live. Some guy scored 10000000 points in about 1 minute the other night, where I can usually do a couple of hundred thousand points in a run. Buy it. It didn't come out of my disc tray for a week before the other games launched this week.

Definately my recommendation. Also check out Links 2004 if you like golf games. Had a cracking match online last night.

See you on the slopes and see you on the greens.
