Peruvian riot cop

needs more colour.

We dont want JD to look like he is a member of the Goon squad or a toy soldier.

Because they've just brought a body in a bodybag out of the house next door to where i work.

SBT

I wish a body/s in a bodybag/s would be brought out of the house next door to where i live.

Actually they are not that bad but they keep leaving the outside light by their door and it has been left on for days on end.At night it lights up the outside yard like its a lightbox which is a pain as prefer it dark but some people are scared of the dark.

WWhhhooooooo.....

boo hoo

I might have to have a very polite word with them about it as its annoying as i dont like artificial light at night unless its very low level.I have a right to darkness and i am tired of it now.It should have a motion sensor instead. There is a light outside mine with a motion sensor but i turned the whole thing off as i dont need it on.I know the owner of the property who lives elsewhere so i could have a word with them but i get on alright with next door and i would rather not go behind their backs.

They just need to turn it off when its not used like they used to.

The only real way to find out if anything is any good is to try it yourself rather than listening to the Edge forum.

I like this sort of thing and i have finally decided to take the plunge and buy a 360.I will be scouring Ebay for a new but unwanted 360.

I have been listened to a CD of a 30 years later reunion concert by The specials. Its very good and they are even better than they used to be 30 years ago.

Its one of those CDs that are given away free with a paper.

Talking of Terry Hall i keep listening to this :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6znRtWl_B4w

Also featuring gorgeous Siobhan Fahey.

I am going through a phase of buying 7 inch singles that are late 70s-80s pop-rock-indie -new wave-punk.If they are on certain labels they have to be first pressing paper labels-card sleeves.

My musical tastes other than that is very mixed and if i like it i listen to it and buy it as i dont get stuck in genres. If you are a music lover then you like music.

Obviously i still listen to vinyl and its a bit of a vice TBH.CDs less so although i must have a few hundred of those. They need to go up on a shelf as they are stacked in piles on the floor which gets on my tits. There is very little in my music collection that is new music as everything i listen that is new i dont like as its rubbish.

I dont bother with live music anymore very much for the above reason but from the late 80s into the 90s i used to quite often watch live music 2 or 3 times a week when i lived in London. Those were the days........

As soon as John Peel died there wasnt anywhere else to listen to new music so i lost interest.

I wish i had as much confidence in it all as you have.

:D

My guess is the consultants will be sidelined more as things progress and to a certain extent the consultants are there to please the fans and i dont know how much creative control JW/Jock expect to realistically have.

Does anyone really think that the producers are going to listen to or ask the consultants about every little thing ?

Its better to be realistic from this point on to avoid disappointment and if the uniform has been radically altered then why expect everything else to be the same ?

Why should the producers care about what a minority of fans think about anything ?

They are in it for the money and to minimise any risk involved.

"...Apathy and tolerance are signs of a dying society."

Some of us are fighting for you.

"The age of belief is over"

The system wants everyone to be apathetic and tolerant and cynical and it wants you to feel like you have no power and it wants to grind everyone down so they roll over and submit to the system. The system wants everyone to give up on politics because they are sick and tired of it.The system wants everyone to think that nothing ever changes and everything stays the same but in this system the progress and changes happen to keep everything the same as it ever was as the C*** are still running the world.

Its important to understand the psychology involved here.

Its easy to take over when everyone is cynical and lazy and indifferent and complacent.

Labour stopped being Labour when John Smith died. That was a shame as i liked John Smith.I liked Robin Cook as well and he died.

Everyone should familiarise themselves with Communitarianism as we now live under a Communitarian system. This is the ideology that hardly anyone talks about.Communitarianism is the ideology of the Post-Democratic era which is Collectivism on a global scale with a centralised autocratic power structure that is unelected but at the same it also allows for the private sector in terms of business instead of businesses being owned and controlled by the state but the private sector is owned and controlled by corporate monopolies as competition is a sin.

So its a mix of Left and Right wing ideology that is Collectivist in terms of Governace and Capitalist in terms of business as business will be owned and controlled by corporate/financial Oligarchs.

The NWO/Global Governace* is Communitarian.

"Global Citizenship" is Communitarian.

Communitarianism is the same in some ways as a Kleptocracy and the present system we live under is a Kleptocracy.

*There is a gig difference between Governance and government.

Google pay 2.5 percent tax per year on their earnings.

PAYE taxpayers pay the majority of taxes in the UK in terms of direct taxation.

John Wagner on the movie uniform (via facebook):

Quote(The filmmaker's) uniform was more paramilitary in style. I urged them to move it back towards the uniform we know and I think they took that on board, but I haven't seen the final version.

Hmmm.

Who honestly didnt expect this to happen ?

I have had an image in my mind of a paramilitary looking JD for ages now.

Dont worry though as film studios always know best but there will be small parts of the uniform that will be recognisable to the fans* !!

:D

*I just hate that comment so much and i quoted it from elsewhere.

I have been planning on joining a specialist building conservation/plastering company that does my kind of work. The problem was one of the partners in the company didnt know who i was or what i do and his attitude towards myself wasnt at all good so in the meantime he has found out who i am and what i do and his attitude towards myself has improved 100 percent as he has seen my work and the principle of the company who i have known since 1995 has explained a few things to the other partner.

I lost a lot of work because of the other partner but i had to get over it and not say anything because if i had have done it would have ruined my chances.

I say this because i met with the other partner this afternoon because i needed a second opinion on a problem at work and he was very happy to give advice and his time.We only talked for 10 minutes but i gave him a tenner for his time which made a very good impression.

I had the same problem with the other partner but again once it was explained by the principal partner who i am and what kind of work i do her attitude completly improved 100 percent as well.

So hopefully it will happen after all but i will be an outworker and not an employee as they will just give me individual contracts as and when because i am not looking to be an employee on wages.

They do prestigious high class work on listed buildings so this is very important to me as despite the recession they are very busy the whole time.

The one thing i am glad about with Tory spending cuts is the scrapping of over 300 quangos that are serviced by taxpayers.
Even the UK Film Council?

I mean, it isn't like Jeremy Hunt's argument that 'oh, the executive salaries are bloated' really sticks, because they were due to send a recalculation of finances that cut them by almost half.

Even if you think Quangos are the height of beaurocracy, you have to admit that some of them actually did a good job.

Thats probably very true but i was generalising.  :D

I just want to say that i type long comments and i reply to others comments but i am not saying i am right and whatever anyone else says is wrong as i just try to present the facts. Some of it is off the top of my head and i said so but the point of my comments is to inform instead of wanting to start argumentative debates.

Politics is one of my main interests which is why i talk about it a lot.
