I would love to bid on the actions but i am not going to.

How many of you are good at winning auctions?    How many do you lose?

I must admit i do snipe nearly always as i never bid until the last minute.    99 percent of the time i always win which must annoy the hell out of others and i do feel a bit guilty when i do it as well as it is very sneaky.

I dont bother with sniping software as i wouldnt trust it.
I promise i wont go near the actions.

I always wonder why they do that.   What is there to hide?

Another trilogy a bit like lord of the rings.   I havent heard of these books ever but i dont read much.  They must be well known enough to invest in film adaptations.     This was exactly my point in adapting 2000ad stories into films.Cgi is established now and will get cheaper so i think 2000 ad films are crying out to be made.   Rebellion wouldnt need to invest themselves ,they would just make money from licensing and percentages of the gross amount of money made. They cant lose.

Never heard of it but it looks good. Its funny how often these sorts of things are set in the victorian times.   Is it an old story?

I thought that would be a shock announcement  !   although in fairness i have said this 2 or 3 times now but going back a bit now so you can be forgiven .        its like i have come out  a time tunnel i suppose.      22 years  !      what a shock after all that.

Is this your favourite prog ?      Mine are  224 - 228 incidentally.          what a coincidence.    Prog  228  i  like a lot  but i was still getting over Meltdown Man ending  in 227.     that was a major disapoint ment  as it was so sudden and i was totally absorbed in it as to me it was a perfect alternate reality for me to get lost in and i just got so used to it being there every week.

I have to get 228 out of the pile to send off so when i do i will reread it and let you know what i think exactly.     I dont know how old you are or how long you have been reading 2000ad.       It sounds like i am old perhaps to you but in reality i am more like a 30 year old so dont be scared or shocked by the 22 year gap.     I am 39 just so you know.    I dont care about how old someone is anyway.

I forgot to say that i have given up music magazines as they are c r a p.   a reflection of the music scene i suppose.   So i will spend on 2000 ad instead of that rubbish

Are you ready for this?  call it coincidence, call it what you like but on the way home earlier i went into a newsagents and bought the Megazine   and prog   2007.     I have to start somewhere.     I am waiting for that  Dafoe /  undead strip to start.  given my interest in the darker side of things it looks fantastic especially the art.      I am old school 2000ad and i prefer b+w art. to colour.   You should know that i have been buying EEs for some time but not 2000ad itself.

I will read the comics much later on tonight. I am very happy to discuss 2000ad  as long as boarders dont complain that i only talk about old stuff .    We are talking here of a gap in reading and buying it that amounts to 22 years.         Of course i will give you feedback on the new stuff as well.

You raised this point a couple of days ago if i remember right.      I was feeling the pressure from the board about this issue for a while now.   Its a good point after all what are we doing here?

In future it would be nice if you didnt keep picking.   could you instead just get to the point as you have done now as the sniping just gets my back up.   I am very reasonable and not difficult at all to deal with but i appreciate directness from others if there is a problem.

       So no worries.      Peter.

This isnt a confession:      The seduction of Claude Debussy      by the  Art of Noise.

Has anyone ever heard this ?   Its  astonishing   to listen to  through headphones.           Unlike anything else i have heard ever.

Does anyone know that The land of Make Believe[bucks Fizz] is about thatcherism or Thatcherite values ?  It was written by Pete Sinfield from King Crimson.

AAaaaaahhh  Sanity again.   You have no idea how good that feels.         Are you buying Vhs tapes ?     They are everywhere now  .  charity shops are excellent things  .   I have been buying lot of records at the local  charity shop.         I know someone who buys all vhs tapes .   He is film mad and claims to have watched 4 or 5,000 films this way.   I suppose it wasnt  a confession at all.

My brain is a bit frazzled so i am going to bed.
