Is that 4 real ? It seems to be  but it could be a pisstake all the same .If it is real then frankly i am lost for words. It may be something shown to american kids in schools as a form of state sponsored propaganda. The enemy within etc etc .I would say that the content in that clip is rascist as well. I never want to see that again.ever.

"Obey your leaders"   .It was probably funded by right wing neocons.

Leaving aside the possibility that that was an exercise in irony there is something very orwellian about that and the whole living in fear ethos. The real terrorists are the US/UK [nazi]governments.Everyone knows that.

   Sickening.

I dont often get offended by things but i am after seeing that.

"The land of the free" ? The US is less free than it has been in its entire history if any of them still dont realise it.

I would personally dump that clip into the trashcan where it belongs.

Try this out:    Its like a personality type test.

Its surprisingly accurate if you answer the questions honestly.

               Have   fun  !

" Who do you think you are !!  ?? " Half  question -  Half exclamation.   A bit of a stupid question i always thought .Do they mean do i think i am someone i am not ? Do they think i think i am myself ? Do they mean am i acting like someone i am not ? Do they think that i have some sort of personality disorder or multiple personality disorder that is constantly changing ? The more you deconstruct that remark , the wider its implications are.

Off Topic / Re: Insomnia
28 September, 2007, 02:38:03 PM

Not had insomnia properly but i had it a bit earlier in the year when i was going through my slightly mad phase earlier on in the year where i just had too much energy to sleep for more than 4 hours or so.

As a general tip keep clear of pharmaceuticals full stop.I find a small spliff helps to relax but the thing that i find always works is to lie there in bed listening to music through headphones. This really does work well.It diverts your mind and focusses it on the music stopping all that mental chatter and you slowly drift off and become more relaxed.

I am not an insomniac but i find it very hard to go to bed before 2am or so sometimes 3 am.

A strong cup of Chamomile tea works well too but if you drink too much it loses its effect quickly.

It is an interesting place to be mentally with sleep deprivation but not much fun if you dont have a choice over it.

I dont need to say anything.V takes the words out of my mouth and posts them.

Dont know the character in question but all those qualities are what i would say.

A degree in Cunning from Oxford/Cambridge or higher than that.Good use of the English vocabulary and well spoken.Abused at home and in the playground. They still havent got over it so they wish to have absolute power to make up for their massive inferiority/insecurity problems.

I would say pretty much the same myself as a general rule including Mandriod as i feel that character was wasted as there was a lot of potential there.

They get more interesting when you get to find out what motivates them and what if any sympathies they have with the opposing force of good.

The more depth they have, the better.

In rare cases they renounce their old ways and join the forces of good.

General / Re: TOP TEN HORROR FILMS
10 April, 2008, 04:43:52 PM
"A more recent one I liked was "The Others" despite Nicole Kidman being involved"

That was a fantastic film and i wont say a bad word about Nicole Kidman after her acting in that film.

 Wonderfully atmospheric.

 In no order:

 The Descent

 The Others

 The people under the stairs.

The Omen 1  especially the graveyard scene with The Rottweillers

 28 weeks later

 Dawn of the dead

Texas Chainsaw Massacre [original and remake]

 The Shining

 The Relic

Last one is a tie between The Wicker man and Psycho.

Help! / Re: Judge Trev and the Inner City ...
24 October, 2007, 10:59:06 AM

For years and years i listened to Hawkwind because my brother was obsessed with them.I heard every single thing they ever did as he had their entire musical output including spin off bands. He had the lot .I cant listen to them now as i heard them too much back then.

I actually saw them live the last time they ever played live with the original line up in 1987 at Acid Daze [finsbury Park] in 1987.

I would like to hear Little Black Egg again though [Inner City Unit].
