I know this isn't wildly obscure but Pulp's 'His 'n' Hers' has  been gathering dust on my cd rack for years and having just dug it out again it sounds as fresh and brilliant as it ever did

One of my dearest mates called me at 8.30pm last night and said 'can I come to stay?' so I obviously said yes and asked when 'erm how about tomorrow?' - spur of the moment visits by friends are THE BEST!

Should we all just swap our avatars for passport photos?

in OTHER NEWS its my birthday :O - I know I'm new here so if anyone wishes to congratulate me (on being born) the very very very very very least they could do is check out my art or noises or something and say -

"Owen you are not complete brain-destroyingly terrible"

Happy Birthday Owen sir! Also well done for using 'douche' as an insult!

Nice work Crave.  I want everyone to bookmark that post until we have a NEW version of it to bookmark, then just point folks saying "what's happening" towards it.  Easy.

And the father of a certain Wild Mc7 might want to weigh in on the weapon chat.  WILD?!  Get yer da!

I have consulted the Oracle (AKA Papa) and Yes, it is indeed based on the famous FN FAL NATO Rifle, known in the British Army as the L1A1

My nephew's birthday, me after one or two drinks (which is astonishing as I hardly drink at all, let alone a few in a session) getting up and dancing to "The Bird is the Word" - loved it.  If I could afford one (and wanted to play more than one or two of the games) I'd grab a copy of this before anything else - a great laugh when there's a few of you, limited one-player/non audience fun though obviously.

Happily my brother has yet to figure out how to put video from his phone onto facebook, so my dignity's in tact until then.

I really hope he learns soon!
