Charlie Higson from 'The fast Show' was the lead singer in an early 80's white boy soul group called 'The Higsons', they were very popular with the late great John Peel and (personal favourite of mine) Robyn Hitchcock wrote a song about them called 'Listening to the Higsons'. Watch it here:

Just started read 'The warriors' by Sol Yurick (you may have seen the thoroughly excellent film of it), I've only just started it and it seems like it's going to be good - had to skip the introduction though; 45 pages of rambling about existentialism*

I've only just noticed all this drama, I'm really sorry if I've somehow mortally offended you but did you (and by 'you' I mean the naughty thread goblin) have to do that? Quite, incidentally if you don't like sprouts don't fudging well have them! You're a grown-up and just because it's 'traditional' doesn't mean you have to eat them (or sit moaning about how you have to).
