Anyone know what Seattle is doing on there? Has it ever been mentioned in the Dredd universe outside of that map?

Posted from Seattle.

Pretty certain it's never had a mention in the strip.

I think it would be great if 2000AD and the Megazine ran a competition to win tickets to the premiere of DREDD, anyone know if anything like that is planned?

Will Class of '79 ever make a come back? I'd love to see Heston back in action.

The Dredd strip fondly reminded me of the 'long-dead' Diceman comic. BRING BACK DICEMAN!  :)

Having said that is there a mistake on panel 23 (go to panel 39 doesn't make sense or is it just me?)

problem solved - sloppy programming doesn't give you a warning when your password selection goes over the number of digits required. BOOO!

God.. now time to spend money..

Same problem, how many digits should your password have?

I'm trying to buy Judge Dredd Megazine 318 through the web site but whenever I press the 'buy now!' button on the home page it displays 'product not found' - any ideas?

The first DSD (Devils Island/Judge Whitey - I lean towards Devil's Island, as the story doesnt refer to Whitey, or him dressing as a Judge!) was printed on 29/08/81.
Don't think I made myself clear, the Daily Star Devil's Island isn't a rehash of the 2000AD Judge Dredd Devil's Island but in fact a version of 2000AD Judge Dredd Judge Whitey. :)

Inspired by the threads hereabouts, I looked out my copies of the first five collections, and tucked into the first one was the colour Saturday strip from June 14th 1986 (strip numbered 251), in which Dredd interrogates a suspect for information about the Bloody Knee Mob.

The Bloody Knee Mob appear in 'Small Mouth' (could be 'Small Mouths') reprinted in 2000AD Annual 1988. If anyone has that annual could they confirm which title is correct. Cheers!

It was indeed.  Shame they didnt get Ron to draw it up to match the rest.

Good stuff. That's been bugging me for quite a while! Just a slight observation, it's actually a rehashed reprint of Judge Whitey and not Devil's Island.

I'd like to see your list with publication dates, my list is based on Barney and seems to be totally out of sink with the numbering system your using here.

I'm interested to see how this thread pans out. The reprints have confused issues by renaming the strips differently each time. For example 'High Jumper' (Daily Star Collection 3), 'The Leaper' (Daily Star Mega-Collection) and 'Catcher in the Sky!' (Judge Dredd Annual  1984) - all different titles for the same strip!

Does anyone know if the first strip to appear in the Daily Star, 'Devil's Island', was just a reprint of the 2000AD Judge Dredd strip of the same name?

Unfortunately, New Arrivals  can't edit their profiles. However, I've bumped Sector Chief up to Member.

That seems to have done the trick. Thank you very much!  :)

Blimey, its getting late. Dunt time fly when your trying to watch The French Connection and read 14 pages worth of "speed dating" thread. Thanks Emp.
Well only seven minutes left on the film, so before i go up the wooden hill ill leave a clue for Roger.
Its from the seventies.....

French Connection....hummm.....could that be a clue? How about the little used middle name of Eugene ALLEN Hackman? Or, Academy Awards (the film won a few AND there's two A's here for bonus points!)
