I hadn't looked at the monthly rankings until you pointed them out DD, and this makes my team look quite healthy so thanks for that!  If only American Gothic stays the course for a while, I could be on to a good thing...

Me too, Bolt.  I wonder what the odds are of people picking exactly the same teams?  I expect Wake to be along with his calculator shortly :-)

Well done Odders and Top Bitch!

I'm in - assuming all that small print didn't confuse my brain.  Curious to see how cheap the teams get - I only spent 86 groats - more money for half-time oranges, lucozade, etc.

Ooh - exciting, like a year-long advent calendar!

Can I change my Album of the Year, please?

I just got Andy Kershaw's "More Great Moments of Vinyl History" in the post, and it's a cracker!

I mainly got hold of this because it contains one of John Peel's top favourites (Stanley Winston, No more ghettos in America) but the rest of it is not exactly filler, so I'd recommend this to the board.

Heh - another favourite Brummie-ism  is "I couldn't get me 'at on".  Optional "Loik" at the end.

Best expression of disbelief EVAH.

...also the ever-useful 'ar'

Brummie mode off.

Talking about TV detector vans also raises a few eyebrows, as does Marmite.
