Could you make that a bit bigger, please?  ;)

Glorious, Mark!  Still awaiting the arrival of mine but should be any day now...

Dropped into my inbox last night, up on Mick's blog this morning!  'Some Trees' as Mick calls it...  :)

I liked seeing George Formby in Stickleback (appropriately leaning on a lampost, outside Mr Wu's laundry).  Brought to mind D'Israeli's old pic of Mecha-Formby vs. Godzilla, which is never a bad thing.

Not sure of people have seen these AND not sure about the price (certainly counts me out alas) but do love Wagner, Grants and Kennedy's Outcasts so hopefully of interest. Seller has lost them in the Graphic Novel section and seems to think they are by Alan Grant but... nice pages!

Nice find, Colin!  It's worth pointing out that these are inked by Steve Montano, not Cam...  The first page is especially nice, though - and features a very similar mask / helmet to that sported by everyone's favourite bungling enforcer, Flip Marlowe, in the Big Sleep.

Ulp, one little gripe/query: A number of the images on the 5 pages of Brendan McCarthy sketches - Voltage, Lux, Task Force UK, Red Dragon and the portraits next to him -just doesn't look like Mr McCarthy's work.

Wonder what others think.

Dunk!

Not seen this in person so I can't comment other than to point you in the direction of Steve Cook's excellent blog...

Film & TV / Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron

The whole Hulbuster vs Hulk thing may be
Ultron in the Hulbuster, rather than Stark.  May make sense, as it looks like we see Ultron initially inhabiting a body mad of remnants of other Stark armour
.  Anyway, looks like fun!

£389 winning bid for that Rogue prelim.  I didn't enter the fray in the end but I don't think I'd have gone that high anyway.  I forget what I paid for the inked prelim I bought a couple of years back (featured in the 1983 2000AD Annual) but it was a fair bit less I think - and came with a pencil version.  Still, it's a lovely piece of work - did anyone here snag it?

Ending tomorrow! It says character design for 2000AD #5?

There's seven Gibbons prelims up at present, some of which are recognisable from the feature in the 1983 annual - that's the fifth of seven.

It's a beauty, that one.  I'll admit I'm tempted although the inked one I bought previously is hard to beat.  That shadowy Rogue is so iconic though...

The day after I contacted Denise for a replacement the missing Prog turned up, adorned with a sticker saying "Mis-sent to Bermuda"...  Norway, Bermuda - I often confuse the two myself.  There's a Future Shock in there somewhere, I know it.

Looks absolutely beautiful.  You truly belong here with us among the clouds.

Thanks!  I do, don't I...

Anyway, forgot about this one: Harry Kipling (deceased) with dead God courtesy of Feliks (5).

Don't worry, I'll make sure Colin is equipped with the genital cuff before he's allowed to get his grubby mitts on it.

Now that's incredible!

Thanks, Mark - it's great to see Jesús revisiting Return to Armageddon, especially as it was out in the wilderness without a reprint for so long...
