I'm currently collecting the comic version of 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' and enjoying it greatly (first time I've ever had a comic on subscription order at Forbidden Planet). Blade Runner is all well and good, but I've always wanted to see 'Sheep' done in a visual format and this is working very well. I love the fact they have gone out of their way not to simply copy designs from 'Blade Runner', aside from giving Deckard a big brown trenchcoat (but then again, surely that's what instantly springs to anyone's mind when you hear the name Rick Deckard- the coat). I'm passing the comics on to my dad when I've read them and he is enjoying them as well; I told him there'd probably be a big collected volume at the end of the run, but he said he was happy to have the individual issues! Very unusual for him...

Decided to wade in here after some 'lurking'

I picked up the occasional 2000AD as a kid, and I collected 'Judge Dredd- Lawman of the Future' (the tie-in from that movie *shudder*) but I have recently gotten into Judge Dredd in a big way. I've been borrowing every 'Case Files' volume I can find at the Newcastle Central Library, I've gone through about 6 of those in the past month, plus the Complete PJ Maybe, and Emerald Isle which I got for 99p at Forbidden Planet!

I'm currently building a Dredd helmet and MK1 Lawgiver, with a view to eventually making a full Dredd costume, though it does seem like quite a tricky costume to make. I'll post some photos of theme when they come along a bit more. The helmet is a deluxe Iron Man helmet by Rubies, cut up and modified. The Lawgiver is made from a vintage Nintendo Zapper I had lying around, and it has a length of copper tube for the barrel.
