The comic industry's loss is herbalism's gain, I hope. Bit of a shame though as the art was good.

The only one I am not enjoying so much (and I am still enjoying it a fairamount) is Sin/Dex because I never did like it a lot and I am having trouble remembering who the women are. It took me a week or two to work out which one was Tracy and I couldn't remember what the other one was called. Neither looks much like the previous interpretations of the characters. The story is fun enough and the designs for the menfolk are really great. I like the deranged Ken doll look of the Pastor.

The rest of it is fantastic. I think that may be Simon Davis' best ever action scene in Slaine - there's so much movement and the colour work is lovely.  I really love Jaegir's depth and Dredd is rather tense. I like the creature designs in Outlier. It might not be the most important story in the Meg but it rattles along pretty fast. That splash page was fantastic.

Mind you that Judge Janus in the floppie was like, wholly irritating. Was she always like that? What did the audience think at the time? This was when I was undergoing my Long Walk from the prog so I don't know these stories.

Yeah you have a point, although it is interesting that in DiMarco there is a conversation about Dredd's handling of a case between Garrison(?) and Di Marco - one arguing he'd go in swinging and bust heads and one arguing he'd ask himself who benefits... It's almost like they heard you.

I am flipping loving Michael Dowling's artwork in Anderson. I've always thought the more 'Ranson-esque' artists suited Anderson best because of all the stuff they have to show that is going on inside her head. It's hard to define because I love artists like Boo Cook for other reasons like the use of colour and the outlandishness of the designs. If anyone can do bizarre mutant weirdness it's Boo Cook and I totally loved his Dredd this month.

Slaine also seems to have been allowed to age a bit too and he is more reflective. I like it.

Jaegir is by far my favourite strip at the moment. I am fascinated by the world-building as I don't know much about the Rogue Trooper world that hasn't been published in the Meg floppies. It is really interesting seeing how people get by in a totalitarian regime like this.

Also if it's not hayfever then it might be that pollution spike. My sinuses have been awful this week.

My anxiety attacks are much easier now because I know what's going to happen and that I'm not going to suffocate. I just concentrate on trying to breathe normally which feels very artificial during the attack but I've been noting how I feel and how fast I breathe when I am well and then I try to concentrate on breathing the same way during the attack. I also try and lose myself in a book if I have the opportunity. Then I just wait. I also know that I won't be feeling right for hours afterwards so I take it easy and forgive myself any tiredness, wobbliness or weepiness. A good night's sleep usually puts a lid on it.

My work also allowed me to change my hours slightly so I didn't have to commute on crowded trains as claustrophobia often brings an attack on - I'm very grateful to them.

I love your art on here and the other threads, Jon. Some epic storytelling and worldbuilding.

Poor little guy and what an awful strain for the family. Better luck for all of you.

My Aunty Liz moved to New Jersey and passed there. She wouldn't have been allowed on the roads in the UK.... Some states are very forgiving.

Awesome! I do hope you've posted that in the lego community as a suggestion for future manufacture. :D

It's all very good but I completely love the expressions on the face of that bloke with the cloth cap. Especially the first panel. You don't need the speech bubbles to read his emotions.

Good to hear TB,  a little all over it seems.
An unusual little thing happened this eve, while haveing the not so nice job of helping clear a hour of a relative passed away, a medal was found to suggest military activity in India in the late 19th century, surprise may be a strong word, excitement better. I know little of war/military records, anyone have directions?

Try the National Archives to start off with and the then forces war records website , perhaps?
