Because we've just started a new topic in my art class at GCSE, this big project where we pick an artist and research him/her, reproduce some of their pieces then do something you thought up but in their style, then develop your own. Well when my brother did it he had a great teacher and he got great grades, he picked Frank Miller to study, so I'd been planning mine, practicing and deciding who my artist would be. We sat down on the computers to print of some examples, and she saw what I was doing and had a go at me because it was a comic artist, she said, and I quote: 'No, I want you to do a 'real' artist'.

I also did no work on the advent calendar thingy this weekend. It's annoying. This cold has taken out 2 weekends and I haven't done any xmas shopping. I nearly fainted just putting up a 4ft plastic tree!

Oh well, I still have time to get everything done - must control panic.

Thanks Peter - yes you're right. I like the multivitamin milk drink idea. I always forget the pills.

What worries me that despite not knowing any programming languages I understood a little bit of that.

You may have a copy of Windows Movie Maker already on yr PC and be one of the lucky ones whose computer doesn't crash when you use it. This should be good enough for some simple vidoe shorts...

Life Spugs for me because I was supposed to go out tonight but don't feel well enough. May upgrade my cold to proper flu as it is taking the dvil's own time to leave my system.

Steven - Lovely page - I'm a big fan of cross hatching.

Simon - SuperGirl does work better with the lines' softened by colour and it's a great pin up pic.

Great cover - the colours especially.

I enjoyed the Dredd story and the art complemented it perfectly.

The terror tale was really cool. The art was wonderful.

Dandridge is beginning to disappoint. I love the art but the writing seems a little meh at the moment - it's just a chase. Still, early days.

Slaine - this was great this week. The art reproduction was nice and clear so I could properly appreciate Clint Langley's work. The game reminds me of the Haxey Hood which is quite timely. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haxey_Hood  It'll be carnage this year if the weather stays bad.

Sin/Dex was okay - the art is good but the story a little dull.

When I see the name Dinsdale I always think of that giant hedgehog....
