I just tried to read the Wiki on Gundams, but honestly, it's not just Cyberleader that speaks a different language.  Explain to this elderly gent what these 'mecha' things are:  are they autonomous robots, and if so why the human shape, are they waldo exo-suits or human-driven vehicles, and if so why call them robots?

Mobile suits come in all shapes and sizes 99% of then need a human pilot but on occasions there are computer controlled ones these are call mobile dolls a well known one is Musha Gundam  who featured  heavily in Gundam Dynasty warriors.

these models, SON of DD bought one last month.
he seems to believe that for some reason i can help him!?!

my hallowed postion of my dad can anything may be in jeopardy here.
coupled with the fact he turns 13 next week. i can see it all ending in tears (MINE)

Stick to the HG (high grade) kits they are simple and easy don't do MG (master grade) kits straight off as they're hard and can take weeks to put together on a good note there's no glue needed to make these.

I think it was asked here before, as have most of these questions you've been asking. But I think I remember someone suggesting that it be just some kid, no one special, no big epic involved, just some punk that gets a lucky shot at Dredd. I always really liked this idea and a nice finish to him.

yea I kinder like that ider its like he fought off wars dark judges zombies a robot war and its some kid that finily gets him its kind of ironic.

General / Judge Dredd 2nd Question
17 February, 2010, 08:25:38 PM
Mike Gloady pointed out that Dredd is not getting any younger and he ages in real time well I started thinking eventually he's going to end up going to Resyk and I wanted to know which bad guy or event should finish Dredd off. Personal I think it should happen in a finale battle against the Dark Judges buts that my idea of a great ending what's yours.

(2nd thing that made me think of this is because I am listening to Death Trap whilst typing this)

I think these days there's a definite trend to telling more realitic-feeling stories.  Twoth at it's inception was aimed at 8-11 year old boys, these days the storylines are aimed more squarely at the age-group of the existing fanbase who were reading it in the 70s/80s/90s.  Older people basically.

It also makes for more dramatic tension if you reckon your hero can get his arse handed to him.  Apart from anything else, Dredd's aged in real time, so while he was in his 30s in prog 2, he's in his 60s now.  Future tech and th rejuve job after he was burnt to a crisp in Necropolis might explain why he's still so spry - maybe 60 is the new 40?

It's also worth considering that he's just a hard and stubborn old codger - the character was based on Clint Eastwood and if I were to look at Clint these days, old or not, I wouldn't want to tangle with him.

I know that I wounder what there goner do because he carnt go on forever.

Is it me or is Judge Dredd getting beaten up more in the new comics than he did back much earlier story's. Been reading the Complete Case Files thats what got me thinking this.

The flag, man! Do the flag!

Those Gundam kits are awesome little things. I nabbed a couple of cheap Gundam models recently for fan-comic references. I'm amazed at the level of detail on the things.

I gess you like the flag
