The problem is that the forum search engine has very fined grained and allowed you to throw in all sorts of qualifiers in the advanced search. I could usually track down what I was looking for pretty quickly. I just tried to find something pretty straightforward through the new search engine and have had to give up.

Hey 500, let me reword that for you:

"Appreciate all the hard work you've done to integrate all the search functionality across the sites so quickly. Wow, what a guy! I often lie awake at night wondering how you manage to be so damn cool! By the way could we get an advance search function at some point? If it's not too much trouble, you know, in amongst the 20 other sites you maintain - boy do we love having you around!"

That is a fantadtic idea. Everyone, but everyone, should send tharg a full length reclining nude photo, with their bits covered by an improbably placed item somehow linked to 2000AD. Surely if he gets enough, tharg would print them?

Might as well beat Molch-R to the punch on this one: Tharg's Nudey Shocks - single page, nude photospread of Tharg in all his... glory. Or Molch-R's Dirty Knees - nude snaps of the PR droid but you only see him from mid-thigh down as this is all that is visible to the... naked eye. Something to do with nudity anyway.

Tonnes of goodies mentioned there and there might be something else tucked away in there that they've not mentioned. Well worth ordering a copy just for that.

I understand the desire for a common look across the site (to be honest, I frequently forget there are any pages apart from the forums) and I'm not having a go at the work you've done but I'm finding the newest look a bit frustrating. On my netbook (I know, I could use another machine, but it's on the coffee table) at its highest screen resolution I have to page down to see any meaningful content, i.e. posts, forum headers, etc.

Is there supposed to be something in the big empty space above Dredd's head?

There is an ad (usually for Solaris and perhaps Abaddon books), presumably your ad-blocker is snipping it out or it isn't loading properly for you.

Does the 'search' facility still work? I can't find the darn thing or any field window to type a search term into.

As far as the pimped-up primate meatputer I keep between my ears can tell, IP is going to involve a large story arc that stretches across a number of instalments. The first one (which was going to be called "Reboot" I believe) introduces the situation to us, as well as some of the cast of characters who will be going on to deal with it. I think it means Tharg can keep things rolling as the chunks come in, rather than have to wait for all of the scripts for the complete story to be in the bag before commencing publication.

You won't need to have read Dead Eyes although familiarity with it might help - it sounds like a future IP trade would have to include Dead Eyes.
