Help! / Re: anyone ever gone a bit deaf?.....

That'll be it. It has happened to me.

Urea hydrogen peroxide is your answer - the Otex ads on TV are scary but it is effective.

My Dad swears by a spoonful of warm olive oil in the old plughole.

Weirdly its been cancelled as of issue #6. No trade collection either.

However, it is creator-owned and it looks like they are getting the rights back so could, at some point in the future, carry on (although Robertson is on contract to DC so I doubt it will be any time soon).

There is a 7 page sampler where you can see the Pegg-a-like and his girlfriend's fate.

Books & Comics / Re: How dangerous is Mold............

Its worth a bit of scaremongering too - in the US there are some realy nasty types of mold that are so deadly you have to demolish the house. Seen in an episode of CSI (Mucormycosis.

D'ya know when I read the title of this thread I thought you were asking how dangerous is Mold, the town in Flintshire, North Wales!

Me too!! I did my O Level geography project on Mold and I can answer the question - it isn't very dangerous although I hear you might want to avoid the place at throwing out time if the Young Farmers are in town.

Now Wrexham is a whole different kettle of fish!!

"I've had it with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane! "

Can't remember from what film it's from though...something about a tattoo maybe?

I know that one - they shave a Yeti and tattoo it with some ridiculous made up movie that no one in their right mind would make. I think the full quote from the film is:

"I've had it with these mother fucking snakes on this mother fucking plane tattoo!! I'm not drinking mother fucking tequila with you mother fucking gang of useless pricks anymore!!!!!"

Or something.

I liked the censored swearing in Aliens - what was it rat punk son of a bitch or some such silliness.

Off Topic / Re: tracing phone numbers............

I'd also recommend looking into Anonymous Call Rejection (BT, Telewest and NTL offer it). There are numerous weaselly ways around the TPS (if you filled in a competition 5 years ago and they sold it to someone who sold it someone else then they could claim you sort of possibly agreed). ACR cuts off most of the UK phonecalls.

I was getting over a dozen a day (at least half of the silent variety) and it cut them right down. Now its back up to about 5 a day as they are switching to off shore call centres which are unblockable and outside of the main restrictions (sort of possibly - test it in a court of law).

If it was really really dodgy then phone the police.

I am quite a hairy guy (sufficiently hairy that my back hair has its own nickname - The Black Eagle) and I knew a guy at school called The Human Carpet but the amount of hair growing on the top half of his arms must surely qualify as more of a pelt.

Good find. Reading Anime News Network and any other sites discussing this (like blogs, etc. - you can check your referer logs to see who is linking in). Edit it into the top of the thread and slap it on the front page and... other places if need be. Bugpowder?
