If you're ever doing anything in that studio again, I should be able to come.

Hi, just seen this thread. Nice work WoM. I'm not going to try to give you any advice because these guys are all better at that than me. I will, however ask (if this has not already been covered), do you want to know about audience, and how change in audience affects change in character? For instance, my media teacher who has been a reader for ages, suggested that, as a great percentage of the readership have (like himself) been reading since the beginning or the early days, when Dredd was a boys action comic with a slightly darker edge, to the the last decade or so, when it has seemingly matured with it's audience, that the writers have noticed this and changed the character. I know that was obvious, but my main point is, I'd say that the majority of readers have stuck with Dredd for ages as it has matured, and there are fewer new readers, but I have only been reading for the last few years, since I was 13, so if you want my perspecitve I'd be happy to help. That is of course, if you are studying change in audience as well etc...
I know, I take forevever to say nothing, sorry.

My comment was light-hearted and not intended as a criticism of anybody. Obviously I'm as bad at humour as Urban is at sums. :-\
Yeh, I didn't think you were criticising him, I was just saying, it's what people, myself included, tend to do sometimes.

Just because he said forty years doesn't mean he's not a fan. I don't mind if he isn't a fan, hopefully it wont affect the movie. But he may be fan and just, I dunno, said it like that for some reason. It's sometimes what I do, i think right this started in the seventies, it's been forty years since the start of the seventies etc...
Did that make any sense because I've just read it back and it sounds weird.

Haha. I may have embarresed myself just a tad there. But still, from an almost profile shot, the front wheel does seem smaller and it's not that greatly effected by perspective.
I should probably stop saying things.

How can you tell how fat the wheels are from a profile shot?

Ha, yeh, sorry. I've just noticed something, this may have been mentioned, is it just me or is the front whell smaller than the back wheel.

I don't hate it, I don't love it. It looks good, you wouldn't sit down and watch the movie knowing nothing of the comics and say 'wow that looks really out of place and stupid'. But it doesn't have some of the distinctive features that most artists gave the lawmaster. And after reading the first few pages of the script, given the description of the bike included, I expected it to be more 'fat wheeled'. That is possibly the thing about it that dissapoints me the most but hey, I don't mind too much. It looks good.

What spoiled it for you?

Not so much the supension of belief thing ruined, but just a wee thing that spoils a film or TV series?

For me it was that erse from Friends (canned laughter:hahaha) appearing in Band of Brothers, no attempt to change his appearence or indeed act the part, grrrrrrr!

Anyone else?

Who's that erse from friends. I don't watch banned of brothers but I'd just like to know who it was.
Oh and radiator, I kind of agree with you on the rachel and joey thing but for me, nothing can ruin friends :)
