In fairness that is only the SDCC exclusive, and that is
kind of a scene in the movie
one that I actually really liked, one of the few times they showed he really did care about humans, even if he didn't fully trust them.

Yup! Hellboy is what got me into collecting comics! Though it's probably already been said, they recently released a hard cover of The Amazing Screw on Head and other Curious Objects, which I thoroughly recommend, as well as the animated adaptation of The Amazing Screw on Head that was a pilot for sci-fi, how it didn't get picked up I'll never know!

Still ticking this film over in my head. I honestly think it might be the worst Superhero movie since Catwoman.

... Really?

I've seen it twice now, really enjoyed it, probably more so the second time.

I felt the same way as Rad for the first few episodes, though I did like Michael's hatred for George-Michael's room mate
You ever even been on a plane you little *bleeped*?
Got sooooo much better I felt, however, a lot of things are left un-tied. Hurwitz originally said this was to lead into a movie, though of late there has been some confusion as to whether or not this is still the case, but Hurwitz confirmed that it is only weeks ago, so that's good news. I think the only other question is how will we have our story-questions, i.e
what happened to Lucille 2?
answered? Will it be a movie? A season five? Either way I'm excited. Although the end may be frustrating to some in all it left open, I think the ending scene itself was brilliant!

The film is... it's not for me! There are bits of it I like, the fight scenes are fun, and that's about as far as it goes for me! Not sure I've read the alien one, but Gerhard Shnobble is great! Another one I remember quite well is (I think) called Lorelei Rox, I remember that as being one I always used to re-read! Some how or another we own various reprints (the kitchen sink ones etc) and the few trades (I think there have actually only been two) that DC put out, so I'm looking at getting the DC archives, I know they're a bit pricey, but it's something I've been putting of for years, and the price hasn't changed! Another one I'm interested in is IDW's The Spirit artist edition, a big A3 hardcover full of scans of Eisner's original art, though that's somewhere in the region of £120!

I'm about to dig out the Spirit stories that I have upstairs (I'm talking about the original Will Eisner 7 page strips, not the New Adventures or the Darwyn Cooke stuff, as good as it is) and I was wondering, what are your favourite Spirit strips? I haven't gone through what I have for a while, but I remember a story called 'Fox at Bay' being one of my favourites; it's about a lone gun man in an apartment building, The Spirit has to go up and stop him, and, if I remember correctly, he ends up severely injured from the waist down, as seems to happen a lot to the Spirit!

Daredevil! My first properly involved attempt at fully digital drawing and colouring, so when making your judgements, don't feel the need to pussy-foot around (not that you would!) but bare in mind that I'm still getting used to it!

H.P Lovecraft! Not as good a likeness as I wanted, but I'm working on one at the moment which looks a bit more like him, not finished yet though!

I also have some more versions of this to put up :)

Looking good! I will say however, on  your fb page, there seems to be some confusion. Some folk think you made minty!

I really enjoyed it, but, I'm just gonna talk about the stuff that annoyed me, because that's far more fun!

First and foremost, the 3d was god-awful, but I guess that's a given for most movies, it made the fight scenes so muddy... Just like Guy Pearce's motivations (I'm more proud of that than I should be!). He was just so, I dunno how to describe it, so bland as a villain. That might not be down to Pearce, more how the character was written; however when he got in the elevator
near the beginning and said 'Advanced Ideas Mechanics
I had to hold back a cheer! Too much 'suit-hopping'. Does it in the first few minutes 'oh okay, this is cool' keeps doing it 'well I guess it looks good' keeps doing it 'okay I wanna see Iron Man blow some shit up now'. And now the big one,
Pepper's 'death'. So Tony was trying to get to her pretty much on foot, jumping from crane to crane etc, and it was important that it was him doing it, not the suit, I thought that whole sequence was fun. Then he gets there, and Pepper falls into the flames; this (although I feel somewhat weird saying it) bought a smile to my face, not because I dislike the character, but because I was thinking 'okay, now Stark is actually gonna do something, this will be the big finale that we've been building to (obviously I knew she wasn't actually dead). Instead, we don't really get a reaction, which to some extent I buy, he's processing it and what not, but I wanted more than just Stark doing the Rick Grimes eye camera banging. Considering the whole movie was spent telling us how much Pepper Meant to him, I expected something else, hell, he gave a bigger reaction when Coulson died. And like I said, I can see the whole 'didn't know how to grieve' thing, but I don't think it was communicated well enough.
Having said aaaallll of that, I still really liked it, especially the
I don't even wanna work here, these guys are so weird
fight scene.

I actually quite like the Superman costume, but that Zod looks horrible! Let's hope that's not his outfit for the whole film!
